Chapter Twenty

              Jackie's POV

I woke up on the couch the next morning after chads party. I tried to stand up but my legs failed me.

I guess that might have drank more than my body could take. To be honest, I have never had a sip of alcohol before last night. I shouldn't have listened to Katie's advice to join the drinking competition.

Where could Liam be right now. As I struggled to stand up, I saw a note on the table close to the couch. It's from Liam so I opened it.

Hey Jackie,
I had an emergency to attended to in Las Vegas concerning Andy. You were asleep so I didn't want to disturb you. I'll be back as soon as possible and I made you soup for your hangover and kept some pills behind it just in case you are having a headache.

Liam is a nice and caring guy, he takes good care of people around him.

I am not used to being cared for the way Liam cares for me and this made me trust and like him.

Liam is the first guy I have ever been comfortable with. Actually he is the only guy I have ever been with.

Even if I was pretending to be his sister, I can't deny that the more I tried to convince myself that I wasn't jealous when those girls were all over Liam, just made more jealous.

He his my supposed brother and also the first guy I have ever liked.

I managed and went into the kitchen to have the soup Liam made for me and also take the drugs because I was having a splitting headache.

I was in my room feeling tired to the extent that I couldn't move an inch. My temperature started rising and i started feeling feverish.

I got into bed and just cuddled up in my duvet.

I wish Liam was here then he will know what exactly to do in such a situation.

Its four in the morning and the cold just got worse. My lips had changed its colour to purple. My limbs started feeling numb and as time went by, my entire body went numb.

I could no longer move any part of my body except my eyes.

It is said that before a person dies, his/her life flashes before their eyes but this was not in my case.

Maybe my mind was also paralyzed. Lol

I heard Liam calling me but I just couldn't answer. The voice began getting closer and closer until Liam was right in front of me with a worried look plastered all over his face.
