As you made your way to the 'hide out,' you got a sharp pain in your side making you fall and whimper in pain. You had forgotten about the injuries you had. You didn't want them to know that you were in a weak state, for you still just met them and don't trust them yet.
"Hey! Are you ok?" Asked Luffy.
"Yeah. Just tripped on a rock." You replied trying not to show any pain on your face.
"I don't know how you got the jump on use before. You're so clumsy." Freckles decided to join in on the conversation along with top hat.
"Are you sure your ok? You don't look so good." Said Sabo.
"Yeah I'm fine so quite asking." You snapped.
"He's just asking if you're ok you could at least be nice!" Luffy piped up.
"I didn't ask for your help. If he's worried he can be as worried as he wants but I don't have to take it," you said, "I think I've lost my appetite. I'll just go."
"But what about the banquet?!" (Luffy)
"Like I said, I lost my appetite." (Y/N)
"You can't just leave like that! You said you would come so come!" (Ace)
"I thought you didn't want me to come." (Y/N)
"I'm allowed to change my mind!!" He said with pink tinting his cheeks.
"We won't be able to eat all this food by ourselves so why not come?" (Sabo)
You thought about it for a few seconds before you nodded your head. They nodded too and started walking. This time you were sure to watch how you walked; careful not to hurt your injuries anymore than you already have. You walked in silence and watch all the plants and occasional animal that would pop out from time to time. You look at the boys for a few seconds, studying them. Freckles or Ace, as he's called, looked like someone familiar to you, but you couldn't place who he reminded you of. Sabo had manners and more expensive clothing than the other two. You wouldn't be surprised if he was a run away noble. Then there's Luffy. That hat of his really made you suspicious. You once knew a pirate with a similar hat and the hats looked exactly the same. You would have to ask about it later.
As you were thinking all this, you made it to the boys hide out. You were in awe. You'd never see a tree house before and were quite surprised. It was nothing like how you imagined it would be. Honestly, you thought that these boys hide out was going to be a few pieces of junk stacked on top of each other but this was amazing. Of course you didn't want to show you were surprised and give freckles any praise.
"So? Pretty awesome right?" Ace asked with a smug look.
"Eh. I've seen better." You lied, bluntly.
"Why you little-" Ace started but was cut off by Luffy pulling you up the latter. You don't know when, but he climbed up to the tree house and used his gum-gum fruit to pull you up. That did wonders on your already hurting body. You were once again surprised, though, you didn't think Luffy had that much strength. Today was full of surprises for you.
"MEEAAATT!!!!" Luffy screamed as you were recovering from that earlier joy ride.
"Why did you pull me up like that?!" You screamed at him.
"You were taking too long and I'm huuuunnggrryyyyyyyyy!!!!!!" He wined.
"That's no reason to almost kill me!!!" You yelled at him.
You finally calmed down after a minute or two and looked around the tree house. It looked like a ship or the contents of a ship. There was the steering wheel, crates and boxes, and even a Jolly Roger. Just then you heard the other two finally make it up to where you were. As you turned around you get a sharp pain in you side again and, this time, let out a small squeak as you went down to your knees.
"(Y/N)!!!!" The three yelled running over to you.
"Hey! You're bleeding!!" Sabo said with concern.
Sure enough, when you looked at your side and the hand that you used to hold it, there was blood. Your blood. You think when Luffy shot you up here the injury got worse and opened back up. You figured you didn't feel anything until now was because of the adrenaline rush that came with the unexpected fun.
"We need bandages and medicine. If we don't get that it will get much worse." Sabo said. You concluded that he was the smart one of the three. You figured things out by analyzing them and concluding what they most likely are or aren't like.
"I'll go get some!" Ace said, rushing of to go get what they needed to patch you up.
As they panicked about what to do, you laid there waiting to get a word in. When Ace finally came back with the bandages and medicine, they started to wrap you up, careful not to hurt you even more. You still didn't trust them much but trusted them enough to help you with this.
"I'm fine." You said, sitting up. They made you lay down at some point after they wrapped you up.
"Lay back down! You are seriously hurt and you need to rest!" Sabo scolded.
"But I said I was fine and this is only a little injury. It'll be healed in no time." You responded.
"Don't argue!! Just lay down and rest." Ace scolded.
You were surprised for the hundredth time that day. All three of them looked genuinely concerned for you. It was something completely foreign to you. No one ever really cared for you and to think that these three have only known you for barely a day. It amazed you. After laying back down like they said, you sat there for a few seconds, thinking. Then you spoke.
"What about the banquet?" You asked.
"Oh yeah! We forgot about that!" Ace and Sabo said at the same time.
"Foooood!!!" Luffy just realized.
"We can have it later. Right now it's to late to do that. It has to be at least midnight." Sabo said.
"Are you sure?" You asked.
"Yeah." Ace and Sabo said.
"But what about foooood?!?!?!" Whined Luffy.
"We will have some tomorrow. Now go to sleep fast so you can have it faster!" Said Ace.
"Okay!!" Luffy replied, laying down next to you.
Ace lied beside Luffy and Sabo laied on the other side of you.
"Night guys." (Sabo)
"Night." (Ace and Luffy)
"Good night boys." You replied with a small smile. And with that, you closed you eyes and fell asleep with a smile on your face, surrounded by people that you are starting to get attached to.
