Part 3: Meeting the Three (Edited)

As you laid there, you heard rustling in the bushes and quickly got up; wiping any of the tears that still lingered on your cheeks. "Come out! I know you're there!" You shouted as you took a defensive stance. Just then a boy wearing a straw hat came out of the bushes. "Who are you and what do you want?!"

The little boy in the straw hat looked at you with a big grin on his face and said "I'm Monkey D. Luffy and I'm going to be the king of the pirates!" You didn't move or say anything. You just stood there, watching him; making sure he didn't try anything.

When you didn't react to what he just said, he just tilted his head and squinted his eyes at you. "Well? What's you're name?"

"You don't need to know that." You hissed as you stared at him unblinkingly.

"But I introduced myself so you should do the same! It's not fair if you don't!" He shot back at you.

"To bad. I don't just go handing my identity out to people I just met. Especially to little boys I just met! It's just common sense and for all I know, you could be a spy trying to lure me to slave traders, hunters, or even the marines!"

"But I'm not! I just want to know your name," Just them his stomach growled making you sweat drop. "and I'm hungry."

'This guy is just to much of an idiot to be a spy,' You thought as you watched him mope about being hungry.

"(Y/N)," You said. He gave you a questioning look and you decided to rephrase that "My name is (Y/N) D. Orihara." All he did was give you the 'Ooooh' face and you were about to strangle him from frustration. But before you could get a chance to, two boys came running out of the bushes and tackled him into the bushes on the other side of where they jumped from.

"You do realize I saw you, right?" You asked bluntly, staring at the bushes they attempted to hide in.

"Great she saw us! What do we do?!" One whisper yelled to the other while trying to keep a struggling Luffy quiet.

"I don't know this was your plan!!!" The other one said as you were starting to get ticked off at them for ignoring you and acting like you couldn't hear them.

"Maybe we should tie her up and make sure she can't scream for help, then dump her in the river." Now you were pissed. When they were discussing how to get you tied up and make sure you didn't get away, you jumped up into a tree and climed behind them. You jumped down and were met with two young boys who hadn't noticed you yet and were still taking about their so called 'plan'.

"You guys are pissing me off, " They turned around in surprise when they heard you and jumped back a bit except Luffy, who was watching you the whole time. "Firstly, if you are going to make a plan to try and kill me, don't do it to where I can hear you. Second, don't try to kill me, tie me up or gag me in any way or you're dead. Lastly, don't EVER ignore me. Now who are you and what do you want?"

One of the boys has blonde, curly, short hair, a blue top hat and a matching coat and shorts. The other has longer wavy, black hair with freckles dotting his cheeks. They both had metal pipes in their hands and were waiting for you to attack them. "Why should we tell you?" The one with freckles said.

"Wow. You actually thought about giving me your name. Luffy over there, gave me his name without hesitation." You responded bluntly, pointing at Luffy.

"Yay, well, he's our idiot little brother, and...uh...um....yeah!" He tried to come up with something but it didn't work. You did believe him on the idiot little brother part though. While you and freckles were yelling at each other, Luffy was chasing a butterfly around the three of you. Idiot. It didn't take him long to fall on his face and when he did all he did was get back up and start chasing the butterfly again. You sweat dropped.

"Well, we aren't going to give you our names until you give us yours. It's only fair." Responded the blonde. You couldn't argue with that so you stood there thinking for a second. You finally came to a conclusion after a little bit with them just staring at you intently waiting for a response. You were going to tell them your name. You figured they didn't look so tough and thought you could just beat them up if they tried anything.

"My names (Y/N) D. Orihara. Now tell me your names. 'It's only fair.'" You said the last part in a mocking sort of tone.

"Fine," said freckles, "I'm Portgas D. Ace and this is Sabo. You already know Luffy."

"Well now that we've gotten acquainted with each other, I think I should be leaving." You stated, turning around to leave.

"Wait, tell us why you were here first." Said the blonde one, Sabo.

"Why should I tell you that, it's none of your business." You said coldly. Before he could answer though Luffy came over and asked you a question.

"Hey can you come and join our banquet! It will be fun and we have a lot of food. And MEAT." He said looking up at you. You were a few inches taller than him because, you assumed, you were older.

"Luffy!! Don't go around inviting strange girls to our hide out!" Shouted Ace hitting Luffy on the back of the head. But instead of him face planting on the ground, his head just shook like a bobble head.

You figured he ate a devil fruit but asked just to be sure, "Did you eat a devil fruit?"

"Shishishishi, yeah! I ate the Gumu Gumu no mi." He responded, laughing.

"Cool." You couldn't help but breath out.

"Well?" He asked.

"'Well' what?" You asked back.

"Do you want to come to the banquet?"

"Sure, why not."

"WHAAAAAATTT!!!" The other two yelled at your blunt answer. Honestly, you where interested in these three. You've never seen so much...weirdness in one place before. It was like free entertainment for you, even if you didn't show it. Luffy took your hand and started to take you to their 'hide out' as Ace called it.

"Let's go!!" Said Luffy as you followed him through the woods as Ace and Sabo snapped out of it and started following you making sure you didn't do anything. Though your wounds still hurt, you ran to keep up with the rubber boy, who was dragging you along, and that's how you met the three.

Whoo! That was a long chapter. It took me several days to finish it so I hope it was good. That's probably going to be one of the longest ones I make, so yeah. :3 Again thanks for reading this book and I hope you enjoy!!! ^^~
