I stood in the bathroom and stared at myself in the mirror. I'm going to be a mother.. I'm pregnant.. It didn't dawn on me until after I left the office that I had missed my period and that I was really pregnant. I didn't notice Greyson had come into the bathroom until I felt him wrap his arms around my waist. "You feeling any better?" I just nodded. He kissed the side of my head, and turned me around. "I now know why you asked me those questions." My heart started thumping in my chest.

He placed a hand on my stomach. "How's my little guy doing in there." I burst out into tears. Greyson caressed my cheek. "I thought we were careful... Greyson how can I have a baby when there's someone out there who wants to kill me? What if they kill me and the baby. I can't have a baby now I just can't!" I covered my face and cried harder.

I felt Greyson's body move away from mine, butt what I didn't realize was, he was down on his knees, with his hands against my stomach. "Nothing nor anyone will bring harm to your, our baby, or our son. I will protect you with all I have in me. I know it probably doesn't mean much seeing as you were taken from me before but I promise you on my life Alaina I will do everything I can to make the baby is safe and you are safe." His words warmed my heart. He kissed my stomach, and hugged my legs. Never would I have thought the ruthless mafia leader would be down on his knees, but I knew he had a soft spot for me. He stood up and pressed his lips against mine. I rested my forehead against his chest.

"We're going to have a baby." He lifted my chin and smiled. "We're going to have a baby." He picked me up and spun me around. "We're going to have a baby!" I laughed and held onto him tightly. He walked us out of the bathroom, and down to the kitchen. Everyone sat around doing their own thing. "Guess what, we're having a baby!" Maria gasped, Marco pat Greyson on the back and the other men congratulated us. Dmitry sat in his chair eating cookies. "Dmitry sweetie guess what, momma's gonna have a baby. You're going to be a big brother." He furrowed his little eyebrows together. Greyson chuckled and held my stomach. "They are in mommy's stomach." He dropped his cookie, and looked at me, wide eyed. "No no no baby mommy didn't eat the baby. The baby is growing inside of her." I placed my hands on top of Greyson's. He smiled down on me, and kissed my head.

"Bwig bwotha?" I nodded, and he giggled. He picked up his cookie and pressed it against my stomach. "Here baby. Cwookie." I picked him up and tickled his little stomach.

Marco whispered in Greyson's ear, and Greyson followed him. I wonder what these men are always up to.

GREYSON

I followed my father into my office along with my men. He closed the door, and sat on the edge of the desk. "Now with Alaina being pregnant, we have to provide extra protection for her." Dad picked up a folder and handed it to me. "Alessiana has been spotted in town, but the woman she's been spotted with, I've never seen her before. We've got some information on her. Her name's Danielle Trescott and she was------"

"Alaina's roommate.." Everyone looked at me. "Alaina thought that whoever was behind this got her too but she's in on it as well it seems." I slammed the folder on the desk. "We all need to be aware of what we are dealing with," before I could finish, Gustavo came in the room with urgency. "Sir, she's been spotted near the estate." I walked out of the room, my men armed and ready, followed me out. I walked down the stairs, and Alaina sat there coloring with Dmitry. I walked up to her and kissed her firmly on the lips, and Dmitry on the head. "I love you, stay here." She had a fear stricken look on her face as I walked away, and out the back door.

No one's harming my family. I heard something move beside me, and instantly I aimed my gun. "Whoa! Grey it's just me!" Alaina stood there with her eyes wide and hands up. "Alaina, what the hell are you doing out here!?"

"Well if this isn't a lovely reunion." I turned and saw-------.

"Dani!? Dani you're alive!" Alaina tried running to her but I held her back. "Alaina don't." She looked at me, and raised an eyebrow. "Greyson she's my roommate! We can trust her." Dani stood there with a bored expression on her face. "Can we get this over so I can get my money." She pulled out a gun and aimed it towards Alaina. "D-Dani?" The trigger was pulled and on instinct, I jumped in front of Alaina. The bullet hit my arm but not before I raised my gun, and shot her in the stomach. She fell down, and so did I. I clutched my arm and tried getting back up.

My men helped me up, carrying me in the house. "Greyson!? Marco!? I heard gunshots!" I rolled my eyes, and held my arm. "Mother relax, everything is fine, but I need you to get the bullet out." She slapped me upside the head. Normally that would've pissed me off, but she's my mother.

"Go outside and get the girl. She DOES NOT leave here alive." Alaina stood next to me, pale. "What's wrong mi amore?" I hissed when Mom started digging through the bullet wound. "She was gonna...kill me.." I held out my hand towards her. She walked over to me, and leaned her head on my shoulder. "She's working with Alessiana. Alessiana may have had something to do with your parents death or she knows who did. Why? That's what we have to figure out and even if I have to shoot it out of that bitches mouth, then I will."

And I'm willing to bet my life on that.
