After dragging me out the house she put me on the back of her bike and drove me to the DEO where we went straight to medical.
"Alex why are we here what's wrong?" I asked as she ignored me
We came across Jonn and Winn who looking just as confused as me
"Jonn Maggie's been hit badly we need all hands on deck" she said making me panic and start to feel a sharp pain in my side.
She lay me on a bed in medical took my jacket off and lifted my shirt and both Jonn and Winn went from confused to serious and it wasn't until Alex's mom came in and gasped that I took it seriously.
"Maggie you have a pretty big gash on your side and I don't want to alarm you but there's a pretty big claw at the end of it with some sort of infection." She said as Alex grabbed my hand.
"How bad is it?" I asked as I started to fell the pain
"Bad enough that we have to put you under to get it out and to help the infection!" She replied as I begin to hear people behind me getting things ready.
"Right can I speak to Maggie for a minute please?" Alex asked not taking her eyes from me as people left
"Ok but make it quick honey" her mom said
"Alex I'll be fine I promise and I'm not bothered about scars, I've got two already so thirds a charm!" I joked making light of the situation
"Just don't leave me ok!" She smiled at me softly
"Right we've got to get started" Alex's mom said walking back in
"Love you Maggs!" She said before kissing me and standing up from her crouched position
"Love you too Alex!" I replied as I blew her a kiss as I watched her leave.
"You ready?" Dr Danvers asked
"Yipp just don't kill me cause I do kind of want to marry your daughter." I smiled as she wheeled me into the big lit up white room.

Alex POV
After I left Maggie I went straight to the main area where I saw Kara, Winn, Mon-el and Jonn standing around the table.
"Are you being serious! Like deadly serious!" I shouted turning there heads along with a few others
"What's wrong Alex?" Kara asked as she stepped forward
"What's wrong...Well let's all just start with the fact that the woman I'm getting married to in just over a month is currently lying on a table being operated on by my own mother because you allowed her to go out in the field and if I hadn't noticed she would be dead!" I shouted making 2 out of the 4 look at the floor which gave me a signal of who was to blame.
"Alex you were I'll there was no other choi....." Jonn replied as I cut in not allowing him to finish.
"Yes there was a choice Jonn...let's have a recap everyone...if you don't know already Kara is Supergirl! "The girl of Krypton" the "Girl of Steel"! Where's the "Man of Steel" or was that not an option would you rather have sent out Maggie again to get her hurt!" I shouted back making another head drop
"Alex she agreed" Kara said arguing back
"Kara you should have known better...If it was me you wouldn't have allowed me to go out...ever since Maggie came into my life you've been jealous cause I'm spending all my time with her!" I shouted back not allowing the blame to land on Maggie "You know what keep these until you all figure out why a human went out to fight two of the most dangerous aliens on this planet" I said holding up my badges and throwing them towards them and walking off.

I had been sitting in the hallway for an hour and a half when my mom came out and I jumped at her.
"How is She?" I asked making her smile the biggest smile
"She's perfectly fine but I need to talk to you" she said sitting me back down
"What's wrong!" I asked panicking at why she wanted to talk
"Nothing I just wanted to tell you to never let that woman go...We mentioned you in conversation and her heart began to make the rhythm of someone in love and when we stopped it went back to normal. So even when she's out cold and being operated on she still thought about you." She said making me smile the biggest smile
"God she's such a sad romantic isn't she" I laughed thinking about how much of a romantic she is
"I'm proud of you Alex proud of the fact you came to find who you were and found someone who makes you happy and I can't wait for the time I can say that is my daughter's wife!" She replied making us both tear up a lot and I mean a lot.
"Thanks mom it means a lot and at least one person has said it!" I said making her face turn serious
"Is your sister still acting funny about Maggie" she asked as I nodded my head but before I could say anything she got up and left allowing me to go in and see Maggie. I walked over to her bed and the first thing I did was kiss her cold and pale head. As I did that I felt her stir and saw that her eyes were opening.
"Hey you!" I said smiling at her
"Hey Alex what time is it?" She asked making me look at the clock
"Ehm it's twelve thirty Why?" I asked confused at why she'd want to know the time.
"Well a year ago today on the 3rd of December we met for the first time and in a month and a half we're getting  married. That's why I came home was to cook you lunch and that's why I was disappointed this morning when you were ill" she said making me smile from ear to ear seeing her smile and listening to the words she spoke
"God you really are a romantic aren't you!" I said making her giggle but flinch at the pain.
"Yea and maybe we can share a jelly pot as your romantic dinner!" She laughed as I joined her before giving her a kiss to make the anniversary officially official!
