I hope she's taking care of you!

6 weeks later
(10 weeks into pregnancy)

"Hey sweetheart get up!" Alex whispered as she pulled me in closer
"Nope I'm happy here thank you very much!" I laughed in response bring her hand closer to me
"Just because it's your birthday doesn't mean that you get to lie in bed all morning" she ranted but with a huge smile on her face as I could feel her raised cheek on my shoulder
"But I'm old now I should get to stay in bed longer" I said turning round to meet her beautiful face
"Yea I know the big twenty-nine that's one year off thirty you know!" Alex laughed making me get out of bed and walk into the bathroom as a joke. After being in the bathroom for a few minutes I walked out to see Alex standing.
"Wow!" I said looking at how big her bump had become within the past few days.
"What?" She replied looking about
I slowly walked over and wrapped my arms around her placing my hands on her belly.
"Just you and how amazing you are!" I whispered as she grabbed my arms
"You know this is the happiest I've been in my life meeting you was truly the world's way of saying well done here's your prize And that being you and our baby!" She replied with a huge smile as I placed a kiss on her neck.
Just as I went to kiss her again the doorbell rang and I walked to slowly answer it. Instead of looking through the peep hole I opened it straight away through being extremely tired and it revealed my mom and brother.
"Mama!" I shouted before hugging her. Ever since it told her about the pregnancy we've been constantly calling each other and texting.
"Hey baby how about this for a happy birthday surprise?" She replied as I pulled Marco in after.
"Amazing mama I'm so glad you're here but before anything I want to wipe the slate clean and let you guys meet under better circumstances!" I smiled before dragging Alex over to where my mom was closing the door.
"Alex meet my mom. Mom meet my wife Alex!" I smiled as Alex went to shake her hand but instead my mom pulled her in for a hug and I saw Alex creep a smile as she was happy that I could finally have my family back even though my dad wasn't here.
"Look at how big my daughter in law and grandbaby is how far along are you now dear and I hope my daughter is taking care of You!" She smiled gesturing for her to touch her belly and Alex allows her as i pull Marco in for a hug.
"About 10 weeks now and Maggie couldn't be any better! Even on her birthday she's asking if I need anything!" Alex says as I saw a smile wrap round my mother's face.
After hearing that I saw her turn round and wink at me as what I'm guessing was a sign of being proud.

Without realising we all sat on Alex's couch talking and before we knew it they had to leave to get ready for the party and knowing Alex and her procrastination we might take a little longer as well.

"Honey what are you wearing for the party anyway like is it casual or fancy?" I asked looking through my closet
"Casual! What about your blue blouse with your jacket? And the blouse that shows a lot off!" She laughed from the other room as I joined in knowing exactly what she was getting at.
"Are you ever gonna not be a flirt" I asked putting on the shirt and walking out the closet where Alex stood ready...almost
"I always will be for as long as I'm married to the prettiest woman...so yes I'll be like this forever!" She replied pulling me in for a hug before moving back quickly and bending over a bit clutching her back

"Alex are you Ok what's wrong?" I panicked holding her side's as she came back to normality
"Yea was just a little uncomfortable feeling and it hurt a little!" She replied as I sat her down and bent down in front of her with my hands on her legs.
"Is there any pain?" I asked as she seemed confused.
"No I'm fine please go get ready honey we have to leave in a minute" she said as if it never happened
"Are you sure cause I'm not going if your not ok!" I responded getting up and standing infront of her as she gave me the wife look of do what you're told...and it truly scares me but so did that...
