"She's not a bad person,Deidre."
I trusted him. I really did.
"You should talk to her"
Unlike you, I don't like her. I had and continue to have negative thoughts regarding Halia.
"Get to know her",he whispered.
I wanted to scream at him, chew him out. We both knew I wasn't capable of doing that. Not to him at-least.
"I'll leave.", he announced.
I wanted to stop him, call out to him. Obviously, I couldn't do it. I've tried for years on an end. And whenever I did, he never heard.
Aiko...
Where are you going?
He exit through the kitchen door leading to the backyard. I followed.
The lump in the backyard was gone. Was that a hallucination? Did I imagine that encounter?
He walked past a store and me being distracted, lost sight of where he was. I stared at my reflection in the window display. I had no scars. There was no time for these thoughts. I had to find him.
I looked around. I didn't know where he was. I took a turning and kept straight.
Aiko...Where are you?
I visioned his afterimage walking towards the cemetery.
Here?
Again?
I caught up to him as he stood motionless and stared at a grave. The tombstone carving read out his name.
