... 5:52 AM ...

I roll onto my side and gaze at my phone, which is on the bedside table. Well, I suppose it isn't too early. I get up and open my wardrobe. I had found time to hang all my clothes up, so I'm staring at an array of jumpers and dresses, none of which I see fit for the MV. Re-directing my gaze to the set of shopping bags that lie in the corner, I briskly walk past my bed and kneel before them. My eyes scan the bags before I know what to try on, Gucci. I pull a piece of clothing from the labeled bag and get up to try it on with a pair of denim jeans and shoes from Tommy Hilfiger.

Yeah, this'll do. I tell myself, taking them off, folding them for later and putting on a set of casual clothes (Black jeans and a white jumper). My stomach rumbles and I remember my lack of eating last night, I was so caught up in my work that I forgot. I hold my stomach as it growls at me a second time. Owww!

Tip-toeing out of my door, with my room card, I head down the escalators and into the eating room. It's quite bare again. I surreptitiously open the kitchen door and...

There are people in here. I grit my teeth for a moment. I'm too late; they've arrived to prepare breakfast. I'm too late; they've spotted me!

Chef: "Hello? Can I help you?"

Me: "Uh- no..." I say, closing the door slowly and running out of the room with hot cheeks.

Crap, no food! I'm hungry and I can't wait another two hours, I'm going to have to do what I don't like...

I shall have to venture outside!

I shudder at the thought, but go upstairs to put my long blue Eskimo coat on. When I get to the front door, I open it; brrr it's cold. I close the door and make one last check: keys, yes; room card, yes; phone, yes; wallet, yes; all clear; yes.

With that, I start walking out of the hotel perimeter. Due to my horrendous cab ride experience, I remember spotting a small village not too far from the hotel and set off to find it. My hands are cold, so I shuffle them into my pockets. Yes, this might not be the best idea as it is currently snowing outside, but I'm hungry and I want food; I just wasn't prepared to make awkward conversation with the chef to get it.
