I almost think yesterday was a dream. I wake up and see the ring. i sigh and put it back in the ring container. It had held the ring until Jace purposed. I smile and close it. i Change into a black and white sweater and blue jeans with white converse. i put my hair in a braid and go into the kitchen. All the kids are eating breakfast. Pancakes to be exact. i go into the kitchen, half worried Izzy will poison my kids. when i open the door i see the cutest thing ever. So cute i actually want to cry. Jace was cooking pancakes. i bite my lip. i know this is going to sound like such a mom thing to say but i have always yearned for a father moment like this. Jace turns around. "Oh" He says as if he got caught going through drawers. "I uh....hope you don't mind....they told me they where hungry" He says. god i love this man. I'm about to tell Jace it's fine but Izzy pushes me into the kitchen. "you need to tell us everything Clary...now" Izzy says. "But i have to watch the kids." I say. "i'll watch them" Jace said. "ok then" I said. Izzy pulled me out of the kitchen and into the library where i was drowned with questions.
Jace POV
i go and sit down in between my kids and Izzy's kids. Angel knew where Max and Rapha where. Catherine was on her phone. why are kids always on those things? me and Alec would talk about demons and killing while we were eating. these kids talk to who knows who about mundie celebrities. "Catherine....Your Mother told me not to let you on your phone while eating" I said putting my hand for her to hand it over. She rolls her eyes. "Uncle Jace, litterally everyone has a phone alright....and if you don't have a phone you're lame" She says flipping the hair Izzy gave her. "And i don't want to be lame" she says. yet saddly you're already lame thanks to your father. i think to myself. "I don't have a phone" Joe says. "And i'm only a year younger than you" She says. Catherine rolls her eyes. "That's because you are lame" Catherine says. "I'm not lame, i am amazing....you on the other hand....you are lame" She says. "cuz kids like you who have phones at 13 and look 21 end up pregnant by age 16. Then you get married to the random father and end up getting abused and mega drunk by your stupid husband. You ruin a childs life and have a miserable life" She says shocking me speechless which is hard to do. "Hey! FYI we're Shdowhunters...we die young which means we get married young" She says. "good for you" She says. "Meanwhile shadowhunter or not i have dignity....i don't go kissing around random people"She says. "W-What is that supposed to mean?!" Catherine asks. "it means i saw you Kissing some random boy outside the institute at around 3 in the morning" She says. "And judging by the wings it was a faerie" She says. wow. just like her mother. "You have a boyfriend?!" I ask Catheeine. "No no" She says. "Ok so what....i do have a boyfriend what ever" She says. "even though i don't like your father i still respect him....and he doesn't want you having a boyfriend until you are at least 15" i say. "but you won't tell.....right?" Catherine asks begging. "give me the phone" i say. she rolls her eyes and groans as she gives me the phone. Cely stands up from her seat. "Excuse me" She whispers and walks out of the room just as a text dings on Catherines phone and Clary and the rest of the adults come in. "Hey can you take over?" i ask. Clary nods. "Sure" she says. I walk towards simona and give him Catherine's phone. "Read the text, because someone has a boyfriend" i whisper into simons ear and leave towards the one place i know Cely will be before Simon can say anything else. I walk into the green house and see Cely starring at the flowers. "You know, their not going to bloom again just because you eye assult them" she looks at me. "You kinda need to wait t'ill midnight" I say as i sit down next to her. "but if you pick one earlier, they stay like this forever" i tell her as i pull out one of the flowers i had picked last night. I tuck the flower behind her ear. She smiles at me. I look into her eyes which are green with golden specks. She is so beautiful. She has my hair.And Clary's nose, My mouth, And her own eyes, a mixture of mine and Clary's. I always knew you couldn't hurt your child, that it was sick to hit them. But i never knew you could fall in love with them just by looking at them. But now i know. I sigh. "Tell me more about how you grew up Cely" I tell her. "Please" "My mom was probably the best mother anyone could have" She says."She had us on a strict schedule.....but she loves us.....and she just wanted us to be able to pick if we wanted to be Mundane or Shadowhunter and to be ready for both." She says. I smile at her. "Hey.....you wanna go to Central park?" i ask. Cely smiles. "i'll take that as a yes" I say as i get up. I help Cely up and we walk all the way to Central park.
