JACE POV
I was with Clary. I was kissing her and hugging her as we watched TV. It was our day off and the kids had school. As I was kissing her my phone rang. I pick up the phone and see the caller ID. I frown. I pick up. "Hello, Jace?" I ask."You're supposed to be in school" He say confused.

   "I am, My PE teacher told me to call you to say, I got detention....Anyways, have a nice day byeee"  Jace says.

    "Wait!"

   "What?" He asks.

   "Ok, First off, I'm your dad, don't use that tone with me" I say getting up off the couch and walking to the library of the house.

   "And?..I'm your son and you left me before I was even born! and tell me...what are you going to do? Whip me? burn me? Hit me? Beat me up?" He asks. I feel my heart squeeze. How could I do that to my own son? "I know you love my Mom, you want to win her back, and you know you can't hit me, because if you do she'll never forgive you" He continues.

     "You think I would hit you????" A silence follows the question. "Even if your mother was ok with me hitting you....I wouldn't do it" I say incredulously. "I care about you....your my son" My voice was filled with emotion.

     "Just like you love my mother? I can tell, you know, you have a funny way of showing love......You leave the people you love" I roll my eyes.

     "I did it to protect you. I looked for you every single day. I would spend days and nights looking for you, I love you, you're a part of me Jace how could I not love you? I know I left you...But I didn't want to! I wanted to grow up with you. Teach you how to kill demons, seen how you kill your first demon, your first words your first steps...I missed all of it and I feel like crap for it....I wanted to be there with you, to help your mother while she was pregnant, while she was juggling jobs. Been there for her and you" I tell him.

    "I have to go.....I'll see you later" Jace says and hangs up. I sigh and put the phone down.

CELY POV
Jace got detention. Alec and Madzie are taking the long way home because they want to stop at a park to do homework. Jason,David and Sharpai got invited to a party. And there is no way I'm going with Sam nor Gabe, and they are going home together with Cat, Joe and Rapha. So, I'm walking with Riki, Jenifer and Roy, Roy is Jenifer's Boyfriend. "So, you have a twin?" Riki asks. I smile and nod.
       "That's really cool! I've always wanted a twin" Jenifer says. I was walking next to Riki. Jenifer had her hand on Roy's arm that was around her neck. Roy had dark skin with curly black hair.  I used to too! Now I regret it. Instead I say,
        "Believe me, it's not that great" I whisper.
         "Hey assholes!" I turn around and see a boy with black cropped hair. His eyes were black, he was tall and looked Hispanic, his skin was pale, he wore adida shoes and white t-shirt with white jeans and a black jansport  backpack.
          "Hey Diego" Riki says. She turns to me. "Diego is one of our other friends, he has a cousin named Mia who horse back rides, she's really competitive, also." Riki explains. I nod.
           "Who is this?" Diego asks.
           "Celine Herondale....or Cely, She's new, and if you hadn't gotten detention by Mr.F, you would've met her" Riki says. Diego rolls his eyes.
           "Whatever bitch" he says. "Where did you move from?" He asks.
             "I was born here, but I moved to London for a few years" I say.
              "Really? But you don't have an accent" Jenifer says.
               "Never stuck" I say.
               "Anyways, Cely has a twin," Riki says.
               "A twin, a sister and feternal twin brothers" I explain.
                 "Holy shit"Diego says.
               "Ok, Diego, stop being rude" Riki says. I smile at both of them. Finally we reach the institute.
                "This is my stop" I say. They look at the institute.
                "You live in a drug joint?" Diego asks. Riki stabs her elbow to his stomach.
                 "No, I live over there" I say and point to the mansion liking house.  
                 "God damm that's a nice house" Roy says. I smile.
                 "You can come in if you want....my parents probably aren't home." I say and start walking towards the house. I open the door. No one was inside. I smile and keep walking. My new friends were staring at the house.
                "Mia is going to hate and love you" Diego says. I blush.
              "Cely?!" I turn around and see Sam. Then my parents and everyone else comes into view.  My mom was wearing black leggings with a black t shirt and black combat boots.
              "Mom, meet Riki, Jenifer,Roy and Diego" I say smiling.
              "I'm, Cely.....are you.....sure?" My mom asks. Crap, we're supposed to go demon hunting.
               "Hey guys!" Joe says. She pushes all of them outside.  "We have a family thing....I'm sorry, you're gonna have to come back next time.......Bye Bye now!" She says and slams the door in their face's. "You're welcome" Joe says as she glares at me. I roll my eyes and go to my room. I shut the door and get dressed to go demon hunting.
