The Choice Series: Lost

Beginning Part 2

      I saw Olivia she wasn't alone Josh was with her he said "You want to break up with me?" "Yes i do" she answered "You don't decide to break up i do!" he yelled "You cheated on me so what do you expect me too do to still be with you!"she yelled back "Don't use that against me" he replied back. Then he said "Your nothing without me you know that right?" then he turned around and saw me i was standing with my binder i looked away and walked then he stopped me.

      "Hey you heard everything right?" "uhm yeah" i said nervously "So you know i am right" "Right about what" i asked "That she is nothing without me" he said pointing at her. "i don't know" i quickly replied "No you do know i am right so come on tell her" he pushed me to her i saw directly in her beautiful dark brown eyes and she looked in my blue eyes and i said without think it through "Your SOMETHING WITHOUT him" " You see even this dude knows i'm right....WAIT WHAT DID YOU SAY!" 

      I turned around and said to him "She's something without you that's what i said" "Your going to pay!" then he pushed me into my own locker and he started to punch me and i could fell my lip bleeding and he also punched my eye and i felt a shot of pain in my left eye. But that was not the end of it he also grabbed me by the hair and slammed my face into the locker's door that's when i lost balance and i fell but before i fell i had a chance to scratch his face(Yeah i know not that hurtful but at least i tired something) then he started to kick me and then i heard someone yell.

      "Hey you stop hurting him and get over here" it was Mr.Jesse he was my science teacher then Josh quickly said to me " Your Lucky but next time your not going to have luck so watch your back!" then he ran away from us. " Are you ok" Mr. Jesse asked as he helped me get up "Yes Sir thank you" " Ok what class are you supposed to be in right now?" "Math Sir" I replied "Ok you go to your class and i will meet you there so i can talk to you ok" He gave me a pass " Yes Thank you Sir" "And where are you supposed to be Olivia?" Mr. Jesse asked her " Math too" she quickly replied "Really aren't you in my class in first block" he said "That's on gold days it's a blue day so i have math right now" "Oh ok then i want to talk to both of you so wait for me because i have to go do something so wait for me outside the classroom ok?" "Yes Sir" we said in unison. 

       Then he left we both we standing there and before i can say something she said " Thank you no one has ever stood up for me like that" "Your welcome" "No really no one has ever done that for me why did you do it?" " I really don't know it just came out" i replied " So it  just came out" she said grinning " Well i don't mean to be rude but i really don't know" i said " Ok we should go now before we get in trouble for standing in the hallway" she said while walking. " Hey isn't your name Zack West that kid that i saved a couple of months ago" she said " Yep that's me" i responded "Well that's cool" she said "How is that cool?" i said while we were going up the stairs "Well you know it's a coincidence that we both saved each other" she said "Well then it is cool" i said.

     We got to the classroom and waited while we were waiting i asked Olivia "I have never seen you in my math class before" "They switched my classes last week" she answered "Oh ok" i was going to ask her something else but before i could get a word out Mr.Jesse came "Sorry guys that took so long but i'm here" "So what do you want to ask us" i said to him "Well first put this ice pack on your eye because it looks like someone painted purple on it" "Thanks Sir i appreciate it" "Well what happened back there why did you get hurt" "Well Sir i was just.....uhm i was just... Then Olivia said "He was trying to tell my ex to leave me alone because i didn't want to be with him anymore."

     "That wasn't your problem Mr.West you know that right?" "Yes sir i just....uhm i just... "You just what Mr.West"he said "I just wanted to help her because she helped me before when i was in trouble so i wanted to thank her in a way" "Is that all you guys have to say?" "Yes Sir" i said before Olivia can say something "Ok i will talk to the principal about this situation ok" "Ok" i said "Now go join your class ok have a good rest of your day" Mr.Jesse said "Bye." i stood there for a minute trying to process everything that already happened in the beginning of my day then Olivia said "So that's why you did it!" "Yes i did it because of that because you helped me when i was in trouble i couldn't just watch him treat you that way so does it matter why i helped you?"

    "Yes it does matter you got hurt because of me how do you think i feel!" she quickly answered "I'm sorry i didn't know you were feeling like that and i don't want you to feel guilty it was my choice to get involved" "We better get to class" she said calmer "Ok" she was about to open the door but then she stopped ."What i said why did you stop?" "After school do you wanna go get coffee or something so we can talk some more" she said with a smile "uhm Sure yeah that would be great" i said she opened the door and then i said "Can you tell the teacher i going to get a drink of water" i said pointing to the water fountain down the hallway "Ok sure" she went inside i ran to the water fountain and got a couple of drinks before i got back i felt a smile about to show on face then i said to myself "Don't get your hopes up Don't get it up!" then i opened the door and went inside.
