I woke up and my body felt like it was tearing apart there was this burning sensation in my fingers. I looked around and i was in my living room and there was glass's of water every were they were on the floor on the couch and on the table i tried to get up but when i did i felt my head pulling me back so i fell back on the couch that i was on then my mother came from upstairs and she looked scared. "Mom what is happening why is there water everywhere?" i asked my mom "Zack i was scared that this day would come" "What are you talking about?" i asked my mom "Zack i will tell you but it involves your dad" "Ok just tell me what's wrong" "From generation to generations these powers has been passed down from your fathers family since the beginning to now" my mom said "What powers are you talking about?" "I don't know much zack i only know what your father has told me" she said while she moved some of the glass's to sit on the couch "Look your father told me that there was these powers that he received from his father to protect himself and the world from someone and i don't know from who but anyway but after your father and i got married he told me that he couldn't defeat this person anymore because he was too old so he said he needed to pass the powers down to you."

I couldn't believe what she was saying my dad was a super human? "So he died because he gave me his powers so i killed him?" i asked my mother "No don't you there every say that every again ok!" "Ok" i answered back. "No it didn't kill your dad he just turned into a normal human, he was himself just with out powers he told me to always to help you control your emotions because the way to fully release all of the power in you, you have to go through sometime that effects your emotion a lot so like anger or sadness but mostly anger turns your powers on after you fully turn your powers on you can control it so you don't have to be mad to have your powers turn on you can turn it own on yourself." "Why... i just don't understand right now how can i have powers?" "You should start believing it because its the truth but i don't know what your powers are your father never had time to tell me because they killed him" my mother said with anger in her tone "Wait you believe someone killed my father?" "Yes, i do zack i never will believe your father died in a car accident i am almost sure that guy that your grandpa told your father to protect himself and the world from killed him because your father told me someone was following him because he wanted your fathers and the others powers."

"Wait there are others with super natural powers not just my dad's family?" i asked my mother with a worried tone "Yes there are others but he never told me who were the others he just told me they were in danger too anymore questions?" she asked me "Yeah uhm why is there glass's of water every were" i said pointing around the living room "Oh that yeah your father told me if you ever pass out i should surround you with water because it helps you calm down or something like that or i think he said it makes your power grow but in a more slower and calmer way" she said with tears in her eyes "Now that's enough for today tomorrow is Friday so you don't have dentation until next week is that right?" "Yes, on Monday" i said avoiding her eyes "Zack i am sorry i should have not made you feel bad i forgot about your emotions effecting you" "It's ok mom i will have to learn how to control my weird powers anyway so thanks for telling me everything you know" we both got up and we started to pick up the glass's of water and putting them in the kitchen for now.

I got to my room and i turned my lamp on my desk and i took out the black piece of paper that i found in my backpack i read it over and over again "What are you going to cause?-M." Well that's the problem i don't know what i am going to cause i need to find out who this came from and what does it mean? I turned off my lamp and i went into bed and i just was laying down there staring at the ceiling and then i remembered that if adam is not found by next week i will be celebrating my birthday without him wow i will be turning fifteen next week and he would not be here to see it... no what am i saying he will be here by next week because i am going to find him.

Pov of Adam

The last thing Adam remembers before someone hitting him on his head was that he was walking to his house and he was pretty mad at Zack because he didn't like walking by himself he never liked feeling alone but he knew that he will have to slowly learn how to be alone and not feel pain. Before Adam met Zack he was bullied in middle school and he was always by himself nobody would want to be friends with him but then came a day that broke his trust in people and made him feel that nobody cares about him, he got tricked and got his heart broken by a girl. He always told himself that he would be fine but every time he remembers how she lied and tricked him he can't stop the tears from coming out after he finished middle school he moved to a different state and that's were he started high school and that is where he met his true and only friend Zack. Now when he met his friend it wasn't the best start of a friendship but things happen for a reason right? anyway the first day of high school started with him getting beat up on the bus by Josh that's were Zack helped him and told Josh to leave him alone and there friendship went from there.

Anyway he know now he couldn't be mad at Zac anymore because where he woke up scared him a lot. Adam woke up in a room it looked old, moldy cement then he looked on the ground and he saw red stains on the floor blood maybe? no he said to himself why would i be in a room with blood on the floor? He was so scared that he didn't notice that his hand and feet were in chains why was he here? he asked himself then he heard a door open a tall short figure walked in Adam couldn't see his face because he was wearing a ghost's mask. "They have told me that you have woken up finally so i can get a sample of your DNA" they masked man said with a deep voice "Where am i ? and why do you want my DNA?" Adam asked the masked man "Sorry Mr.Thompson but i can't tell you that information" the man answered "How do you know my name?" "I know a lot of things Adam that you don't" "I want to go home please let me free my parents don't have money please!" Adam begged the man "Now that i also can't do i need you" "You need me for what?" Adam asked the man "For something that you wouldn't understand but anyway i have to go but i just wanted to be sure they got the right guy."

Adam didn't enjoy how the man said the right guy who would be so interested in him or in his life? The man left and Adam was more confused than scared after what the man had said to him. Adam moved around tried to pull the chains but he was in a chair with chains around his arms and feet how was he going to get out? He wished Zack would have been walking with... No, what was he thinking did he want Zack here with him too No he wouldn't then he remembered his phone his fingers where close enough so he could reach in his pocket he took out his phone and tried to open hit put instead it fell on the floor and then he heard someone say "Oh you almost had it but thank you for telling us you had a phone because my boss would have killed me if he found out we forgot to take your phone away so thanks man?" this guy wasn't wearing a mask he was holding a gun he looked like a guard.

The guard picked up the phone and left he came back a couple minutes later "Well kid thanks" "For what" Adam asked the guard "My boss just said i will be paid 25 dollars more just because i had your phone" "What did your boss do with it?" "Oh i think he was sending a message to someone" "Do you know who?" Adam asked "No sorry kid i am only your guard."

Adam was worried what where his parents doing right now? where they looking for him or they still didn't know he was missing Adam felt broken he didn't know why but he felt like that then he felt tears run down his cheeks would he ever see his family again? or was he going to be killed he didn't know but he just felt like crying and that is what he exactly did.
