The Choice Series: Lost

A life for a life..yeah that's not happening

"Ada-m is th-at really you?" I start to stutter then I felt tears falling on my cheeks "Yes it's me I'm home safe"

"Okay I'll be there in 5 minutes"

"Okay." I ended the call and I started to run I was not that far from home because the school was just a couple streets away I only stopped running when I heard someone yell my name I turned around and I saw Jay and Olivia they were running towards me.

"Where are you going?" Olivia said angry I didn't know why she was angry but there was no time to find out "it's...Adam I have to go you guys can come with me if you want but we have to go right now" she stood there for a couple seconds then she rolled her eyes at me "What are you waiting for lets go!" All three of us ran.

We finally arrived at Adam's house we were right outside his door I hesitated I hadn't had a chance to process all of this so I started to process when I was outside his door. Thankful Olivia saw that I heasitated so she knocked on the door I stepped back from the door and we waited.

After a couple seconds Adam opened the door I looked at him he had bruises all over his face his brown hair looked more clean."Zack I'm s-" he tried to say something but I tackled him with a hug and I felt my tears running down "Adam buddy I have missed you so much" "I have missed you too Zack" his voice was shaken we then separated and I introduced the others to Adam.

"Adam meet Jay walker, Jay meet Adam my best friend and neighbor" I told Jay he went up to Adam and gave him a hug "it's good to see you man!" He said energetically. "Now Adam meet Olivia Cooper, Olivia meet Adam" Olivia and Adam shaked hands then Adam said

"So your the famous Olivia Cooper" he had grin on his face oh how I hated when he had that grin that grin always brings problems trust me.

"Well that's me but I'm not famous so who did you hear that from?" She asked him

"Oh no one special" he said looking at me with his grinning face I shot him a look that I hoped he got as DON'T YOU DARE.

"Well come in I don't want you guys to freeze to death out here." We all went inside and took of out shoes right next to the door Adam's house was smaller the kitchen took almost all the space and the living room was left small

"So Adam where are your parents?" I ask him as we sit down in the living room "Well my parents went to talk to police over at the station and she told me to wait in my room and to lock the door until they came back but you can see that I didn't do that" he said pointing to us.

"How did the police find you?" I asked him as he gave us some drinks "Well the police didn't really find me they just pretty much picked me up because the guy that had me told me he didn't need me anymore and he said that I was getting switched for someone else that was more important so he beat me up and threw me somewhere and I didn't know where I was I was just suronded by trees so I just kept walking until I found streets and people. After I asked someone if they can call the police because I couldn't walk anymore"

"So that is how you got here?" Olivia now asked him.

"Yes, pretty much but I just...." He stopped and he closed his eyes "You just what" I ask him "Zack the only reason why I got kidnapped was because they needed someone you cared about to get you to come to them they need you for something I just don't know for what" "Wait you said me?" "Yes, you Zack they told me that they need you for something they send me a message to you."

I stood up and walked around in circles to process everything Adam just said. "Do you know who this guy is?" I ask Adam "I don't know who he is because he was always wearing a mask when he talked to me."
