We got home and my mom told me to get inside and to go straight to my room I listened to her and i waited for her in my room, she came a couple minutes later. "Zack i've got bad news.." she said with a small tone "What do you mean 'bad news'?" i said as i moved over so she can sit on my bed "Mr.Thompson told me we can't be involved with the Adam situation anymore..." "What? Why?" "He has heard about the fight you got yourself into with Josh and he just believes this is affecting you a lot so he said we should back away so we can be fine" she said without looking at me.

"Mom i'm fine really i just--" "Zack nobody is fine anymore! Adam is not the only one who went missing... parents have told us about other kids that have gone missing, the police can't find all of them they don't even have a clue where to start looking..." "We have to be safe okay?" she said now with a more calm tone. "Okay fine...Mom do you know how to tell if i have unleashed my powers" i nervously ask her "Well your father told me that the only person that will know that is you."

"Oh okay thanks..." "Why do you ask?" she looked at me this time "Uh... i might have shocked somebody..." "WHAT?" "Hey she's okay she knows i didn't mean it... uhm you better go downstairs mom so you can order some pizza because remember its Friday so we have time to eat some pizza today" i pulled her up and pushed her towards the door "Wait you got to tell me what happened-" i closed and locked the door i took a deep breath and i sat on my bed.

I look around my room not knowing how to process everything that happened tonight. I look at my clock and it says 7:20 pm so i decided to do some push ups and sit ups to kill some time and to clear my mind i couldn't believe that i shocked Olivia today but i didn't mean it i felt like i was dragging her towards me... i don't know its a weird feeling i don't know how to describe it.

My mom calls me down for dinner and i run down the stairs and got to the kitchen "Hey mom what kind of pizza did you get?" i ask her "I got pepperoni and cheese which one do you want hon?" "Pepperoni please" she opened the box and i got 2 slices and she got 3 slices, 2 cheese and 1 pepperoni slice.

We sat down on the table and we were silent for a couple minutes until my mother said "I have to go to work tomorrow" "But it's Saturday mom you should have a break you work a lot" "I know hon but they need someone to fill the spot so they choose me but it's not a bad thing we need more money to pay for the house so think of it as a good thing okay can you do that for me?" "Yeah sure."

I couldn't wait until i turned fifteen in a couple days so i could go help my Taekwondo teacher he told me the last time a saw him he needed a helper and he would love it if it was me also he said he would pay me.

I finished eating one of my slices when my mother said "So i am not going to be here tomorrow so you have to stay in here no going outside i want you to clean the whole house and you know what will happen if i don't see this house clean right? "Yes i know but i don't-" she cut me off "I know you don't want to be stuck in here but just for today okay also you have to stay in here because you shocked someone Zack..." "I know i didn't mean it" "Who did you shock?" "Uh i shocked Olivia..." "Wait you shocked Olivia...Olivia Cooper!?" "Yep i messed up a lot mom..." "Okay then you have to convince her that what she saw...felt.. was not real okay do that for me" "Okay i'll try."

I finished my pizza and i thanked my mom and i went upstairs.

Once i got to my room i took out the picture and the map out of my pocket wow my mom forgot about that i am lucky. I opened my drawer and i placed the map in there and i took a look at the picture. Adam looked small he had bruises all over his face his dark short brown hair looked dirty... i took a deep breathe and i placed the picture in the drawer and i closed it.

"No please" i told the man "Please just let him go he did not do anything" "No he will pay for knowing you it's all your fault" the guy had a deep voice it sounded like it came from a recording. He had a gun pointed at Adam's head Adam looked up and told me "Please Zack go..." tears fell of his checks on to the grass it was night and we where in a forest "Why do you do this if you say 'it's my fault'?" i ask the man "We were waiting for you but you were too late."
