I Want To Be Remembered

I want to be remembered in many ways

Good or bad, happy or sad

By family, by friends

I want to be remembered

As that person who made you smile

No matter how upset you were

As that person who could be serious

No matter how unfocused the others were

As that person people could talk to

No matter if in person or online chats

I want to be remembered

For all the things I did to help the world

For the awareness I would spread about the things out there

Nobody would dare to talk about

I want to be remembered

For my accomplishments obtained by hard-work

For my dreams I hope to accomplish in the future

For being that person who didn't give up easily

I want to be remembered

As a top scholar and top athlete

As a good friend for many people

As an amazing daughter for my parents

As a loving granddaughter for my unique grandparents

I want to be remembered

Because of the great things I did that made my family and friends proud

And they went about and told their families and friends

Creating this cycle of remembrance for the life before

The life that opened portals into another world for the next generations

I want to be remembered in many ways

Good or bad, happy or sad

By family, by friends

Be it in people's minds or hearts

Be it online in family trees

For many generations to come
