My brain's thoughts when I see him
I just want my brain to stop
"Turn it off"
My heart rate rises when I hear him
I just want my heart to stop
"Turn it off"
My fear of talking to him
My loss of courage with each eye contact
"Turn it off"
I tell myself
"But then I'll have more thoughts" says my brain
"But then I will beat more" says my heart
I don't care
"Turn it off"
My fear
And then these thoughts and hearbeats
Won't have to be turned off anymore
