“Huh?” Gin asked. I didn’t answer. Instead I grabbed his hand and pulled him up to my room. I went to my desk and opened the draw. I pulled out some old paper. I ruffled though it. I stopped at a certain page.
“Gin. You’re a genius.” I said as I pointed at a word. The word “Turmun”. I looked into Gin’s confused. “When Darren, Sam, and I were still friends, we made our own language so nobody could read our letters.” I said. Then I went to the safe and pulled out the sword. I looked at the word on the sword. “Turmun means beware.” I said “Sam was trying to warn me that something was going to happen. Mother must have gotten in his way.” Gin nodded
“But why then is Sam doing this?” he asked.
“The only thing that can tick Sam off is if someone is hurting his…” I said as I trailed off.
“What?” Gin asked, seeing the worry in my face.
“Eli is hurting his family.” I said.
“Amy and her sisters.” Gin said. I nodded.
