When I write a poem
I tempt you.
To do what?
To enter my brain,
To read my thoughts.
When you read my poem,
You accept my challenge:
To decipher the words I write,
To walk through my unique labyrinth,
Where every dead-end,
There is a memory of the past,
Where every wall opened and closed,
There is the hope of the present,
Where every correct turn,
There is the memory of the future.
But some readers,
They do not see these patterns.
They do not recognize these trails
Of my existence the first time they read
