I watched my sister Ima take care of the little ones as I cooked breakfast for everyone. "Get who's turn is it to feed momma?" I asked.
Gin answered back "Your's." Great. I thought. My luck. "Come and get it!" I yelled as I took my food and momma's and headed up stairs.
"Knock knock. I'm coming in." I said to no one. I walked in the door and saw momma's was a mess as always. He was laying in bed with his face red and eyes wet with tears. "Why do you do this to yourself mom? He will come back just have faith. You have kids to care for." I said calmly as I held in my anger. I knew blowing up on him wouldn't help matters infact it would probably make it worse.
"I'm sorry love. I know your the one with the most anger towards me." He said in a soft voice. He cried on my shoulder as I was sitting next to him. "In sorry for failing as a husband. As a parent. I'm so sorry." He whispered again crying into my shoulder. I hugged him as I did hate him for abandoning is when we needed him the most but I still love him and worried about his health as he was still my mother. I cared for him the most which is why I held the most hate. He didn't do a thing to care for us after he gave birth. His own children were caring for the newly born kids. What the hell?
"My daughter Etsuko. Please don't hate me. I love you. I truly do but .." he started. "Then do something about it! Take care of us! Be a damn mom!" I said loudly as i threw my food across the room in anger. I left momma's food for him to eat as I sat there calming myself down. I went to pick up the food I threw and sat down and leaned on the wall covering my own face with my hands and started to cry my self. It of anger. I felt abandon by him and he was still here with us. I felt ignored and unloved. I hated it. I wished for it to go away. I loved momma but I hated him as well.
