The next day

I stared at Lucy's desk and wondered what did she do after she took off yesterday and why did she react that way? What did I say that had offender her?

I sighed before she walked in. This time she had shown emotions but they were only negative. Her eyes were puffy and red. Letting me know that she had been crying. I must have triggered something yesterday. I walked up to her desk.

"Lucy"

"What is it?" She said kind of cold as she began to unpack her things.

"I'm sorry" She glanced at me with a surprised expression before she looked back at her books.

"You don't have to apologize." She said before she closed her bag.

"Lucy-"

"I hope you guys are ready for your test today. It will be worth twenty five percent of your grade." Said our teacher as he walked in. Maybe during lunch would be the best time to talk to her.

Lunch

Lucy had left the classroom about thirty minutes ago and hasn't come back. So where was she? I left the classroom and went to find her. Soon I caught her scent mixed with salt.

It traced to the last classroom that had been at the end of the hall. I followed it and heard her heavy breathing, her sniffles, and for some reason felt her pain.

I slid the door open and seen Lucy sitting on a desk with her hands covering her eyes. I didn't know that talking about what happened yesterday had been hurting her so much.

She looked at me and I had seen a red blush spread across her cheeks as her tears cascaded down her face

She looked at me and I had seen a red blush spread across her cheeks as her tears cascaded down her face. She looked back down and attempted to wipe away her tears, which only continued to fall.

"Have you been stalking me again?" She said in in the same deminer as earlier. I slid the door closed and walked up to her.

"I thought that you were not affected from yesterday?"

"I'm not." She looked up and smiled. "Okay?" I could see right through that fake smile of her's. I looked in her eyes and seen pain.

"Your lying" She got off of the desk and started to walk away.

"I'm fine, really." She giggled trying to hide the fact that she had chocked up.  I grabbed her wrist causing her to gasp.

"Lucy look at me."

"I'm sorry but I have to go."

"Look at me." She turned halfway and gave me her fake smile as she tried not to cry. "Lucy"

"You don't have to worry about me you know. I'm fine." I turned her around and stared at her. Her smile stayed as her tears started to form.

"What happened?"

"Nothing...happened...okay" As soon as she finished speaking her tears fell.

"Class starts soon so-" I pulled her into my chest and felt her tense up before she clutched my shirt
