Kyoto
Ruki's P.O.V
I moved my shoulder, waking Lucy up. She looked in shock before she glared at me. I decided not to glare back at her, instead keep the same expression as always. Since I knew it pissed her off.
"We are in Kyoto." She pouted before she looked out the window. Watching as the people explored the city.
She seemed in awe of its beauty. Which was sort of....cute? I mentally slapped myself. Did I just call her cute?
Did you figure out where the greenhouse is?" A voice said. I ended up tuning in with reality and coming face to face with Lucy. My cheeks began to heat up. I quickly looked away from her before I answered.
"Yeah, it's not that far from here." She nodded before she stood up and walked past me. Suddenly stopping, she slightly turned her head to look at me.
"Aren't you coming?" I stood up and followed her off the train. Watching the many people's expressions of her.
It made sense I guess, her short white dress had caught everyone's attention. Some glared and some eyed but still, it was kind of uncomfortable.
"Ruki-san" I looked away from the people and looked at Lucy.
"What?
"I have been calling you for the past two minutes."
"What is it?"
"I managed to find a taxi that will take us to the greenhouse." I looked to the right of us to see a taxi waiting for us. I looked at her to see her kind of annoyed, causing me to shake my head before grabbing her hand. Her eyes widened as her face heated up. "Wha...what.. are you doing?" She stammered as I dragged her behind me. I opened the taxi and brought her inside.
"Finally managed to get him out of his little daydream?" She seemed dazed but soon snapped out of it and looked at the driver.
"Y...y...yeah" The man chuckled before he started to drive.
"So Mr. Mukami, why are you and this young lady going to a greenhouse all the way in Kyoto?" How did he already know my name? "Oh sorry, you are who my sister talks about all the time."
"Really?"
"Yeah, a girl with short bobbed red hair, blue eyes, tall, as you kids say, thick. "
"Oh, Mizusaki-san."
"Haha, yeah, if I am right you two have the same homeroom." I nodded.
"Yeah, I know her quite well. She really is a kind person. "
"That sounds like my Mami."
"To answer your question sir, the girl next to me and I have a project."
"Wow, seems interesting, especially since it took you two all the way here."
"Yeah" Before we knew it, we were at the greenhouse. I looked at Lucy to see her sort of pissed off. Which was not unusual yet I had been confused as to why she had been mad now. She quickly thanked and paid the man before getting out. Speed walking to the entrance.
" Thanks"
"No problem sir, by the way, I think your girlfriend might have gotten jealous over our conversation about Mami." I felt the heat rise to my cheeks causing him to smirk. "You better apologize to her. Or else you may never hear the end of it. Woman have great memories you know. By the way, tell her I said thanks for the tip." He said before he pulled off. I turned around and seen that Lucy had been gone.
"Shit"
Lucy's P.O.V
Why was I mad? There was nothing to be mad about and yet I couldn't help it. Ruki just described her and talked about her the whole car ride here. It was not like he had admitted that he had a crush on her or something. I mean, the two were probably just acquaintances. I stopped walking as a thought came to my mind. Why the hell did I care about that man's relationship with her when I didn't even like him!
"Lucy!" I turned around to see Ruki, who had been very pissed off.
"Ruki-" I gasped as he grabbed my wrist and dragged me to the greenhouse.
"I have had enough of trying to get you to listen or stop running from me. One moment you are mad and then in the next moment, you are sad. What the hell do you expect from me when I am trying my hardest to help you?" As soon as we got in the greenhouse he pulled me to the back. Once he let me go he watched me. Trying to guess what I was going to do next.I didn't know what to do nor did I know what to say. I was afraid. Of course, I had seen him angry at times but he usually didn't show it much and right now had been a different story.
"Say something dammit." I made him angry, one of the only people who actually cared for me, I made them angry.
