Normal P.O.V

Ruki stared at Lucy with a piercing gaze. Which only made her more fearful. Something she hated showing him. She tried to glare at him but ended up breaking down in tears as the hurt she tried to hide had found its way to come out again.  Trying to speak normally couldn't help but let the pain she felt become audible in her words.

"I'm sorry, Ruki-san." She said before she took off.

Lucy's P.O.V

Why did he care so much? Why had he been so concerned about me? Why was he not like anyone else in class who didn't pay attention to how I felt? I looked around to see that I had been standing on the gazebo that had been in the middle of Lotus Pond.

I sat down hoping that if I had been lucky enough, Ruki wouldn't have found me.

"Lucy" I spoke too soon. I looked up to see Ruki with a sort of apologetic look on his face. His cheeks reddened, making him quickly look away to hide it. Which he failed at doing.

"I-" I looked away from him and at the lake

"I-" I looked away from him and at the lake. I didn't want to forgive him if he had wanted to apologize.

"What do you want?"

Ruki's P.O.V

She was a brat of course but I had no choice. I was going to apologize to her. Even if saying it to her nearly killed me. "I'm....I'm-" Still no matter how many times I tried, I couldn't. She looked at me unamused before she stood up.

"If you want, we can leave to find a shop." I guess I had no choice.

"Sure"

Six Hours Later

Ruki's P.O.V

I walked inside my house to see Yuma, sitting on the couch. He smirked at me.

"How did your date with Lucy go?" I looked at the man with the same emotionless look

"How did your date with Lucy go?" I looked at the man with the same emotionless look.

"It wasn't a date and it ended up with her getting to choose everything we did after the greenhouse."

"So like I said before, she didn't listen to you. I guess I can take matters into my own hands." I couldn't help but feel anger as I heard that. I glared at him.

"You are not allowed to touch her. I don't want another disappearance to happen. Especially when people seem to treat her as if she had been royalty. "

"She is just a human."

"Those are my orders" I said before I left. Down the hall, I heard Yuma say something that made my eyes widen.

"She will have to find out, one day who you really are."
