A/N: I thought about this while watching a Spanish commercial for Spanish class. It's a Christmas commercial about the company Repsol. The video is up above, but I'll put a link too. *DISCLAIMER* I got this idea off of a Spanish commercial. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fr3O4bUybag It's a super cute commercial!

Summary: Every Christmas Joe's and Caspar's family go to the gas station Refuel to get gas. As Joe and Caspar grow up, so do their feelings for each other. + imagine Joe was born in 1995, same as Caspar.

Warnings: Nah, this is all fluff.

Christmas 1999

Joe's POV

My dad pulls up to a gas pump and gets out of the car to put gas in. My mom goes to the gas station to get some food or whatever she does. My sister is taking a nap and I'm bored out of my mind.

I look to my left to see a little boy sitting in the car across from us. He turns his head towards me and I am immediately captivated by his beautiful blue eyes. My own widen in surprise. The little boy turned his head away and his car drove away. I had to blink and shake my head a bit to make sure I didn't imagine him.

Christmas 2001

Two Christmas's later and we're back at the gas station. This time I go in with my mom, holding her hand. She's walking forward while I'm looking at the bag of chips I want. Then the little boy I saw two Christmas's ago walks out of the isle, sees me, then turns and walks away. I stare at him with a smile/smirk on my face.

Christmas 2005

Guess where we stopped for Christmas? That's right, Refuel! My parents and the boy's parents are parked next to each other. I'm sitting in the car, waiting for my parents, when I see the boy come out and drop something before he got in.

Being the nice guy I was taught to be, I got out of the car and bent down to pick it up. He dropped a steel and leather bracelet. I turned to see him looking at me from his car window. I heard the car start up and started walking to give it to him but he was out of reach. I kept the bracelet and wore it.

Christmas 2006

I was in the gas station and stopped by some popcorn to see if the boy's bracelet was still on me and fixed my coat and hair. Then my mom came and ruffled my newly styled hair. Embarrassed, I shooed away her hands, then looked up to see the boy hidden halfway by a shelf, smiling at me.

Oh my gosh the way he smiled, and the way his eyes lit up when he smiled, it made me all shy so I backed away half hidden behind the popcorn, and then he started to laugh and left the shelf, looking at me one last time.

When he left, I looked down, smiling at my shoes, then looked up. I just felt so warm and tingly all over my body. It was a nice and thrilling feeling.

Christmas 2010

Eleven years has passed since I first saw the boy. I finally learned his name last year when his mother called for him. His name was Caspar. I like that name. It rolls right off the tongue for me and gives me goosebumps when I hear it.

I got out of the back seat of the car and I saw Caspar walking out of the gas station with a good looking guy, laughing with him and holding onto his arm. I felt dejected. I felt my heart get torn apart into a thousand pieces.

My smile immediately faded and I looked down towards the ground and got back in the car. I sat there, twiddling my thumbs and wanting to die, when I heard someone tapping.

I looked up and saw Caspar writing something on his foggy window. He wrote, He's my cousin. He was smirking the whole time he wrote it and I smiled with my mouth closed back at him, the feeling of hope filling back inside of me.

Christmas 2015

Caspar's POV

I was waiting for Joe, the boy I have seen every Christmas at this gas station, to show up. Ever since I saw him, I knew I had a crush on him. The first time I saw him was when I looked to my right and saw brown hair, but when he started turning his head I looked away.

A few seconds later I looked back and saw his eyes; those gorgeous blue orbs, and felt butterflies in my stomach. Ever since then our families have stopped at the same gas station, so every year I get to see him.

I saw his car pull up, but when only his parents got out and no one was in the back seat, a sadness washed over me. My mom tapped me on the arm and told me it was time to go. Did he die? Did he not want to come? Where is he? I thought. I waited a few seconds more but nothing. I sighed and turned around.

My mom knew that I liked this boy, and I feel like that's part of the reason why she stops here all the time. I walked over to the counter and leaned against it. My mom rubbed her hand on my arm in a comforting way and left. Then a helmet was placed beside me and I looked up.

Joe's POV

It took me a long time, but I finally convinced my parents to let me ride my motorcycle to our aunt's house this Christmas. I know, you must think I'm crazy for wanting to ride a motorcycle for Christmas, when it's cold and possibly snowing, but I love the cold. And I love my motorcycle.

When I pulled up to the gas station, I saw the back of Caspar walking away. I quickly parked and went inside. I looked around to see if I could see him. I hoped that it wasn't a mistake.

I eventually found him leaning against the counter, looking sad with his head hanging down. He was playing with his fingers, and I couldn't wait until he saw me. I don't like it when Caspar is sad.

I walked over to him and placed my helmet on the counter, already smiling. Caspar looked up and saw me. He immediately smiled too. Then he wrapped his arms around my neck and hugged me.

I hugged him back and closed my eyes. Before I did though, I saw Caspar's mom out of the corner of my eye. She looked behind her, saw that we were about to hug, and stopped.

I didn't care if people were watching. I got to see and hug Caspar, and that's more than I could have ever wished for.

I asked if he wanted to ride on my motorcycle, and he said sure. We had to ask our parent's first, and at first it was a no. Then they started to talk more, exchanged numbers, and became really good friends. So did our sisters, which was a good thing.

After much pleading and a lot of promises of being safe, our parents said yes. The only thing is that we had to keep our phones on us at all times and we could only ride for an hour. Then I suggested that I drive Caspar where he needed to go. The parents agreed, so we did that instead.

I handed Caspar a helmet and put mine on. I got on the motorcycle first, then Caspar. I looked over my shoulder at Caspar and smiled. He smiled back. I started the motorcycle up and he grabbed my waist from behind.

I almost tipped over from all the nerves and electricity that hit me all at once as Caspar touched me. Luckily, I didn't. I put the kickstand up and I drove off.

A/N: I changed some things, otherwise it's the same. I had to add some parts at the end because the video just has them riding off together, without even showing if the parents are okay with it because if you think about it, you're not going to let your child ride off with some stranger you see every year.
