No.4 Hide 'n Seek

A/N: And here's another one! I'm going to be honest with you, this is just a random title/random story.

Summary: Caspar has a crush on Joe, and he's too scared to admit it. Until after school one day when they play hide n' seek, when Caspar is ready.

Caspar's POV

Joe Sugg was sitting at his lunch table, laughing with all of his friends. Daniel "Dan" Howell, Phil Lester, Marcus Butler, Josh Pieters, Oli White, Troye Sivan, and Connor Franta. I wished that I was over there. Not that I don't love my friends.

My friends are Zoe Sugg (Joe's sister), Tyler Oakley, Jack Maynard, Conor Maynard, Alfie Deyes, Louise Pentland, and Niomi Smart. I loved my group of friends. We have so much fun together.

"Alfie dear, you have a milk mustache!" Zoe laughed. She grabbed a napkin and dabbed at his face. "There we go, all better now." Alfie smiled at her. When they started kissing, the whole group started fake gagging.

"PDA! PDA!" I exclaimed. Zoe and Alfie laughed at me. They make such a cute couple. You can literally feel the love crackling through the air. That seems to happen to all of my friends but me.

Zoe and Alfie are together. Dan and Phil. Marcus and Niomi. Jack and Ashley (for now). Conor and Aubrey. Tyler was in a love triangle with Troye and Connor.

If you're wondering, yes, I am also friends with Joe's friends, we just don't sit together at lunch. The second answer to your question is another yes, Tyler, Troye, Connor, Dan, and Phil are all openly gay. I am openly gay too, and Joe's pan sexual.

"You wouldn't be saying that if you had a boyfriend of your own Caspar," Zoe said to me.

"Boys don't find me attractive, Zoe. And even if they did, I only have my eyes on one in particular," I sighed, looking over at Joe.

Zoe softened her gaze. "He'll come around Caspar, don't worry. He's just a hard nut to crack."

"Tell me about it," I mumbled. Then louder I said, "I'm going to keep trying."

"That's the spirit Caspar!" Just then the bell rang. Lunch was over, so we all got up and headed our separate ways.

I walked towards Advanced Science. Advanced Science was my favorite class. It's the only class I have where it's just Joe and I. Usually Zoe or Oli is with me and Joe, but this time it's just Joe and I, and that's the way I like it.

I sat in a random spot in the middle of the room. I put my bag on the chair beside me, saving the seat for Joe. I saw Joe walk in, and I instantly felt happier. He briefly looked around the room. When he saw me, he started walking towards me.

"Hey Joe!" I said.

"Hey Caspar," Joe greeted.

"How did-"

"Mr. Lee, please be quiet!" Ms. Buckham said sternly.

"Yes, ma'am."

It was the end of the day and I headed over to Zoe's house. I almost always go over to her house after school. Usually it's just Alfie and I over there. When we arrive, normally Zoe, Alfie, Joe, and I go out to do something.

When I got to Zoe's house I saw that Alfie was already there. Alfie always gave Zoe and Joe a ride to and from school. Joe has yet to get his driver's license. I parked my car and walked up towards the house.

"Zoe, I'm here!" I yell, letting myself in.

"In the living room!" Zoe yelled back to me.

I walked into the living room to find all three of them hanging upside down on the couch.

"Um, guys?" I questioned, "why are you like that?"

Zoe giggled," I don't know."

"Because we were bored, waiting for you," Alfie chimed in.

"Besides, get that blood flow to your brain. You should do this, Caspar. You could always use more brainpower," Joe smirked.

"Hahaha, very funny. Anyways, what do you guys want to do? I suggest eating pizza," I said.

Alfie rolled his eyes at me. "You always want pizza, Caspar. Why don't we try something new?"

I put on my thinking face. "So Nandos?"

"You know what? Nandos is fine. I got to get up guys, my heads starting to hurt." After Alfie said that he put his hands on the ground and sort of back rolled off the couch. "Ahhh!" Alfie groaned, "I have a massive headache!"

"Me too!" Zoe and Joe exclaimed at the same time.

"Jinks, you owe me a soda," Joe said, grinning at Zoe.

"Not fair! My head hurts!" Zoe complained.

"Excuses, excuses. Now hurry on up! I'm hungry!" I urged.

When they finally got up, we hopped in my car and I drove us to Nandos. We ordered the same old thing that we always do. It doesn't matter how many times we go here, I will never be tired of this place.

*time skip*

The next day at school was very uneventful. It mainly consisted of me spacing off in class and staring at Joe, although I tried to do this as discreetly as possible. School went by surprisingly fast, and next thing I know, it's over.

"Hey Caspar, Zoe and Alfie are going 'round to Alfie's place after school. I was wondering if you wanted to come 'round to our house and just hang out there?" Joe asked.

"Yeah, sure, doesn't matter to me," I answered.

"Great. Let's go then." Joe and I got in my car and drove to Joe's house. We took our shoes off and plopped down on his couch.

"So what do you want to do?" I asked.

"Hmmm, what about hide and seek?" Joe suggested.

"Okay. Not it!" I yelled.

"Hey! Not fair!" Joe complained.

"Too bad, so sad," I teased, sticking my tongue out at him.

"Ah, fine. You get fifty seconds. No going outside or downstairs. That would be too big of a space," Joe explained.

"Okay. Go!" I yelled.

Joe started counting. I didn't move. I walked closer to him and bent down so I was at his height. I stayed there until he was done counting.

Today was the day. Right now was the moment that I was going to overcome my fears. For better or for worse.

"48, 49, 50! Ready or not, here I come!" Joe exclaimed. When he opened his eyes, I leaned forward and kissed him.
