A/N: Caspar is somewhat based off of me. I'm generally a straightforward person. I may come off as rude, but I promise I'm not! P.S. I am horrible about descriptions, so the summary's are really bad!

Summary: Caspar happens to be a straightforward person and Joe doesn't know how he feels about it.

Warnings: I don't know, but this one shot just feels weird to me.

Caspar's POV

I didn't ask to be this way. I just am. I can't help it. I am a very straightforward person. I often come out as rude but I promise I'm not, I just like to be blunt. I don't like to sugarcoat things. I prefer things to be as honest as possible. And honestly, I have a huge crush on the one and only Joseph Sugg.

Joseph Sugg, or Joe, as he likes to be called, is a perfect human being. He has the biggest heart ever and is so patient and kind. He tends to be a bit shy, which I find adorable. Joe only has a small group of friends. Zoe, his sister, Alfie Deyes, Oli White, and Tyler Oakley.

I am not part of Joe's friend group. I really wish I was, but sadly I'm just another face in the hallways. I usually hang around with my best friends Joshua "Josh" Pieters and Troye Sivan. I have other friends too, they're just not as high up as those two.

I'm going to be honest with you, as I always am, and say that I do not mind school. I know. I'm such a weirdo. The only reason I like school is because I get to see Joe. And I guess because of my other friends too.

"Caspar! I need your honest opinion, which you always give. Does this make me look too gay?" Troye asked.

I looked him over. He was wearing converse, black skinny jeans, navy blue long sleeve shirt, and a light blue flower crown. I shrugged.

"No. I like the flower crown, it's a nice touch. I don't get how you can look gay, anyways. All you're doing is stereotyping people when you do that," I answered.

"Thank you, I did the flower crown myself. And thanks," Troye said.

"Yep. Now where is Josh at? Class is going to start soon," I stated.

Now it was Troye's turn to shrug. "I don't know. Ooh! Don't look now, but here comes Suggy and his group," Troye said, smirking at me.

"And here comes Tyler. Do you want me to call him over?" I asked, smirking right back at him.

"Of course not! I don't want you to embarrass me!" Troye exclaimed.

Joe and his group walked right by us, not even giving me or Troye a second glance. That stung, but I knew it shouldn't have. It's not like we talked. It was mainly me staring at him and hoping he doesn't notice. Before they were completely out of ear shot Tyler turned around.

"Hey Troye!" he smiled and waved.

"Hi-i, Ty-Tyler," Troye nervously waved back.

"See! He likes you, Troye boi. If you told him you liked him, you guys would be making out in no time," I said.

"Just because he said hi to me doesn't mean he likes me. He says hi to everyone," Troye stated glumly.

"He didn't say hi to me," I pointed out.

"I guess," he shrugged.

The bell rang. We quickly opened our lockers and grabbed our stuff. We walked off to our first period together. Troye and I have beaten the system. We figured out how to be in the same classes: all we had to do was choose the same electives and bam! Same classes.

*time skip to last period*

It was the last period of the day before we were finally released. Troye and I sat at the back left corner of the classroom, whispering to each other. It's not like it's an important class. Plus we're considered teachers' pets, which has its perks.

"You're not really going to do it, are you?" Troye whisper-asked.

"I am. I'm going to show you that it's not hard and there's absolutely no fear in telling your crush you like them," I whispered back.

Troye opened his mouth to answer but our teacher beat him to it. "So class that's it. It seems like we have five minutes. You may chat amongst yourselves."

"Thank goodmess, I hate whispering. What I was going to say is, if you don't want to do this Caspar, you don't have to," Troye said.

I shrugged my shoulders at him. "I mean, I don't care. Either I'll be rejected and humiliated or joyful and ecstatic. And if he doesn't like me, then I'll just get over him," I replied nonchalantly.

"Okay. Just remember that no matter the outcome, I'm going to be with you through it all," Troye said.

I smiled at him, "Thanks Troye." Then I hugged him. The bell rang and I was getting nervous.

"Alright, no backing out now," Troye said. We left with everyone and waited by Joe's locker for Joe.

Joe and his group were laughing and talking. I just love the way Joe laughs. The way he throws his head back and his eyes shine happiness, it's almost too much to handle. Him, Zoe, Alfie, Tyler, and Oli did this weird group handshake thing, then went in separate directions. Joe froze when he saw that we were by his locker.

"Um, hey Caspar, hey Troye," Joe said slowly.

"Uh, hey Joe," Troye greeted, just as awkwardly.

"Oh my gosh, you two are so awkward. Hey Joe," I greeted.

"Um, hi Caspar," he said nervously.

"Sorry, I can be a bit straightforward and make things more awkward. On a different note, I need to say something to you," I said.

"Okay. What is it?" Joe asked.

"I like you," I said bluntly.

"Wow, that was very straightforward," Joe stated.

"I tend to be that way. I'm sorry," I apologized.

Joe chuckled a bit and smiled at me. "No problem mate."

We stood there with uncomfortable silence until I broke it. "So? Do you like me back or?" I mentally slapped myself. Sometimes I can be so stupid. I really need to think things through before I say stuff.

"Uh, I don't know. We've never really talked before, but I guess I could? I don't know," Joe mumbled.

I clicked my tongue and looked around. Troye was standing to the side being all awkward. In no means was he helping me.

"Why don't we all hang out? Troye and I can hang with your group, and they can hang with us!" I exclaimed.

Joe thought for a split second. "All right. Tomorrow, meet us at the school around 7:45."

"Okay! Isn't this great, Troye? I get to hang with my crush while you hang with yours! And, we both get to hang with Kermit!" I enthusiastically cheered.

"Kermit?" Joe questioned, raising an eyebrow.

Troye and I exchanged amused glances. "Yeah. You're friend, Alfie, sounds like Kermit the Frog."

Joe laughed out loud, "Is he always this straightforward?"

"I'm afraid so," Troye said, dramatically sighing.

"Not gonna lie, I kind of like it," Joe said, smirking at me.

I beamed at him and almost exploded with excitement. Oh my gosh, Joe Sugg may like me!

A/N: I don't like how this one turned out either. One of these days I'm going to redo them or at least make them better written. But until then, you're stuck with these ;-)
