An ear piercing scream erupted from within the rustic house. The woman struggled on her weak elbows as the tall and dark figure looms over her. A whimpered cry escapes her lips once again as she averts her eyes towards the lifeless body of her husband metres away. The cold wooden floorboards shook when his icy voice spoke.
"I won't ask twice lera. Where is the child?"
She hesitated. A sharp pain fills her chest as she felt him reach into the depths of her mind. "Th-that child" she struggled, "...she died...Months ago."
She looked into his dark hollow eyes and saw no end. No soul. A shiver ran through her at the thought. A sinister smile appeared across his unhealthy face.
"You should've been wiser than your husband"
His bony fingered wrapped around his wand and lifted it directly at her.She muttered her prayers helplessly hoping that her precious infant daughter had escaped safely in the arms of her trusted friend. A tear escaped her swollen eyes as she looked into the emotionless eyes of her enemy.
" good will always avail." She spat. And then he spoke the unforgivable words.
"Avarda kedavra"
