After seeing Alora exit the dining hall alone draco saw his window if opportunity to talk to her. He waited a while before venturing down the dimly lit hallways where he wandered around.
After moments passed, he heard the faint sound of voices, they seemed to be fighting, although it wasn't loud enough for him to make out the words.
The voices became quieter and before draco could turn the corner to see the owners of the voices, he felt a hard knock against his shoulder.

Alora jolted back, holding her arm in pain after crashing into him so suddenly. She looked at him in bewilderment, tears brimming around her wide eyes. Draco stared back at her exasperatedly but before he could speak she had already run off in the other direction.

"Wait!" He called out breathlessly but she didn't bother to stop or acknowledge him.

Knowing that she was ignoring him on purpose, he resisted the urge to chase after her. Appearing around the corner, kade stepped past him with his hands arrogantly stuffed in his trouser pockets.
He instantly knew he was the one who had done that to her and his hands immediately balled into fists.
Kade caught sight of his younger cousin grinned back slyly. Before heading back to the dining hall as if nothing had happened.

Draco had wished he'd said something to her that night. It had been a few days after and Alora was still avoiding him. He would glance her way every chance he could get but she never looked back at him. It was as if he became completely invisible to her.

Alora scuffled through her trunk, tossing books and papers around her room.
In that moment, hermione appeared at the doorway of her dorm tapping on the doorframe.
"Ready? Class starts in thirty two minutes and we need time to eat breakfast."

"Mione, I can't find my history of magic textbook. Seen it anywhere?" Alora asked seeming a bit frazzled.

"No, but If you can't find it I'm sure Harry would let you borrow his if you ask." She shrugged nonchalantly.
At that, Alora gave up her search for her textbook and grabbed her other things to go before they were late. She pondered over where she could possibly have left it last.
She scratched her head as she retraced her steps to figure out where it was lost.
