"Did that feel like a lie?"
Those melodic words replayed multiple times in her mind.
Draco pulled her in closer, not wanting to let go. She could smell his minty scent and felt herself melting deeper and deeper into his arms. Her heart fluttered just at the mere sight of him but with his body in such close proximity her heart was sent into a frenzy."I-I have to go to class." She said fumbling on her words. She bit down on her lip as she felt her cheeks redden. She quickly paced out of the room holding her textbook against her untameable heart.
Draco smiled at how adorable she was when flustered.
It was the evening of the Yule ball.
Alora wore a flowing gown that had fit like a glove and accentuated her delicate curves perfectly. It sparkled in the light like a million stars and the flowing silks were reminiscent of gorgeous waves crashing against the shore. It was a gorgeous icy grey colour... a colour that she had grown to love, the most delicate shade that had a tender spot in her heart.
She peeked around the corner of the stone wall where elegant music filled the room and silver and gold ornaments decorated every wall. The atmosphere was magical itself.
She looked around hesitantly and caught a glimpse of Harry by the Bottom of the staircase.
Her heart skipped a beat as the nerves coursed through her body. While taking a deep breath in, she stepped into the shining lights which illuminated her glowing skin and silky hair. All eyes turned to her as she quietly descended the stairs. When she looked around all she could see was expressions of awe staring back at her.
