Being Adi's GirlFriend

~Chapter 36~

I'm in the passenger seat with Michael sitting next to me with my bags in the back of his car. I was a little nervous about staying with Michael and his parents for a while because I've never met them and was worried of what they would think of me.
I hope they don't think we are dating.
That would be awkward.

I turn on the radio to distract myself from my insecure mind.
The song Havana comes on and I try to sing along in my head to the tune, still trying to distract myself from myself worrying. It's very easy to worry me.

"We'll be there in about 5 minutes." He says.
"Ok." I say quietly.
I don't know why I'm such a shy person. Sometimes I'm shy, sometimes I'm not. Depends what mood I'm in. And right now, I'm not in a very good mood.

The car stops and I look out the window. Uh oh. We're here.  Michael opened his door and sees me not moving.

"Umm... we're here?" He says probably wondering why I'm not getting out.
"Sorry," I reply opening the car door very slowly.
"You don't look alright."
"I'm just a little bit insecure right now.." I say.
"It's ok. My parents are chill. They don't really act like parents actually. You'll be fine."

We both walked up to his door and Michael walked inside with me following while holding my bags.
"Mom, dad I'm home with y/n!" He shouted.
Then I saw Michaels parents walk to meet me.
"Hi, I've heard a lot about you. It's so nice to meet you." His mom said. She seemed nice.
I tell myself to stop worrying.

Michaels dad just shook my hand.
"You can go upstairs to the spare room and put your things away. Michael will show you."
"Thank you." I say and Michael goes upstairs and I trail behind.

He takes me to a small room at the back of the house. The same size as the room I had when I was a kid.

"So just unpack and come down when ur ready."
"Ok." 

After I unpacked, I was kind of scared to go down.

What are you so worried about?

I'm just a shy person!

Just go down. What's the worst that could happen?

I then force my self down the stairs and I see Michael and his mom sitting on the couch watching TV.
"So, do u know how long u will stay for?" She asks.
"Not exactly. It might just be a few weeks."  I reply.
"You don't have to rush. You can stay here up to a year if you would like."
"Thank you." I say. I don't really know what to reply anymore.

I go and sit next to Michael.
"Do you mind if I ask why you are here to stay? Michael didn't tell me much."

"Umm..."
I look over at Michael trying to ask him if I should tell her or not as I don't like making decisions.
He just stares blankly back at me.

"It's just I have no where to stay at the moment. My parents are on a holiday and I don't have keys or permission to stay at there house."

"What about with Adi? Didnt you live with him?"

How does she know all this?
Ohh that's what she meant from ''I've heard so much about you'". Michael.

"I broke up with him." I say quietly.
"Yes but not for long," Michael buts in.
"I told u I had a plan remember?" Then he runs up to his room upstairs leaving me sitting on the couch with his mom.
"Y/n?" I hear him shout from the staircase.
"Oh," I say and I walk up with Michael.

"What are you doing?" I ask while he gets out his laptop.
"Doing my plan." He says.
"Would u like to explain the plan??...."
"Oh yeah. See you know those videos called 'How to catch a cheater', well I'm going to email the guy so we can go on there and test Adi if he is still a cheater or not."

"And u don't think Adi will be mad?"
"I don't think so,"
"But they record you and upload it to YouTube! How would he feel if all his fans see it?!" I whisper shout.
Michael just shrugs.
"You'll see."
