The next day I wake up in the spare room of Michaels house and remember yesterday. I reach for my phone on the bedside table and text Adi.
Me: Adi can we talk?
A few moments later, he replies.
Adi: ok. Where are you?
Me: I'm at Michaels house rn but I need to tell u something so can I come over soon?
Adi: sure. See ya later
Me: bye
Our messages seemed pretty bare without the emojis we usually send each other.
I get up from the bed and tell Michaels parents i will be in the shower so that they don't walk in on me or something.
I made sure I rinsed off any dried blood that was still on my arms. After I was dry, I got dressed:

I then brush my wavy hair and leave it down and brush my teeth.
I thought if everything between me and Adi worked out, it was a waste of time putting away my things in Michaels spare bedroom. I put away some of my clothes just in case.
Walking out of the bedroom, I knock on Michaels door.
"Come in." He said. "Hey Michael." "Oh hey y/n, how was ur sleep?" "Ok, I guess." "Good." He said. He was flicking through his Instagram.
"So I was gonna go round to Adi's to tell him about the how to catch a cheater thing," I said. "Do u want me to drive u round?" He chuckled, knowing the answer. "If u wouldn't mind." I replied, casually putting my hand in my pockets.
He stood up and we went downstairs.
"We're going round to adi's house." He told his parents who were sitting on the couch. "Ok." They said. While Michael grabbed his car keys from the kitchen table, I opened the front door and stepped outside. It felt good when the cool, breeze hit my face, blowing my hair back. Michael walked past me without me knowing and unlocked the car.
When I zoned back into reality (which I hope wasn't to long) I made my way to Michaels car and sat inside.
Before we drove away, I texted Adi quickly.
Me: I'm coming round now. Is that ok?
Adi: that's fine.
About 15 minutes later, we parked outside the house. I wasn't sure why but I was quite worried. We knocked on the front door and waited for someone to answer.
Sighing, Adi answered the door. He gave me a sad smile and stood aside to let us in and he closed the door behind us. Michael went to sit on the couch with tal and left me and Adi standing by the door. It was best to talk here because Tal and Michael were down the hallway and wouldn't hear us that much from over here.
He raised his eyebrows at me "You wanted to talk?" He said. "Yeah," I sighed, not knowing where to start. "Yesterday, Michael set you up for how to catch a cheater. I thought it would be the best thing to do to see if u were a cheater and not just kissing another girl while pretending it was me. And we were watching you and the girl in Starbucks and... you didn't kiss her." I said slowly and quietly.
I looked up to his eyes and saw they were looking down on me. All I could hear was the faint sound of the TV in the next room. Our eyes locked and he started leaning in. He placed his hands on my hips carefully and pressed his lips up against mine and I wrapped my arms around his neck.
After about 10 seconds of passionate kissing, we pulled apart.
"I love you," he whispered, looking deep into my eyes only inches away from his. "I love you too," I whispered back.
