Stunning.
The black girl was stunning.
Copper skin, dazzling eyes. They could work with that. With the right hair and makeup, she could look something like a young Sade.
The voice is there, definitely the voice. But does she have any charisma? She looked like a drunken skunk on the stage last night.
Hopefully she'd audition sober.
Bryce Walker, the suit from the bar, sat at his desk pondering Ashanté Stephenson. Okay, his name wasn't really Bryce, but at Broken Pony you had to sound western. He'd changed his name soon after he started working here. Maybe they should change Ashanté too.
He'd leave that to Artist Development.
The crowd had loved her in the bar last night, and they were definitely not the usual audience for a POC country chick.
Hopefully that idiot Maverick would see this was the way to go. When his secretary buzzed him, Bryce rose from his chair and headed to the staff meeting.
