Bryce swaggered past the secretary's desk, knocking on the top as he went by.
LuAnne looked up. "Hey, sugar. I heard your speech in the meeting today. So when do you have to clear out?"
Bryce chuckled. "I wasn't fired. Wanna go out and celebrate? Just you and me."
"Bryce! You know I'm a married woman now."
"Heh. Can't blame a guy for trying. We did have some fun times together."
"Yes, we did. But Clay's the man for me. I hope you find someone to share good times with, Bryce. You're a good man. You know, for a jerk."
Bryce laughed and pulled out his phone as he headed to lunch.
Time to tell our new star the good news.
