Hey Mom,
Sorry I haven't written sooner, but you wouldn't believe how busy I've been. You remember I told you I was offered a job after I sang karaoke with some friends in a sushi bar? Yesterday we sang in a shopping mall. There were maybe twenty or thirty in the audience, and I was so nervous! But they seemed to like our music. We sang six songs, then took a break before playing them again.
So I decided to start using Ashley Stetson as a stage name. What do you think of it?
Fortunately this job doesn't take much of my time so I'm keeping up with my studies, and it gives me a lot of practice. In my spare time I'm trying to write songs for the guitar. I'll call you later. Tell Dad I love him. I know he never reads emails.
