The room went extremely silent after the words between (f/n) and Sumin has been exchanged.  Yoondo was fidgeting in his place, unsure of what to do.

"Are you two really a thing?" You asked, just wanting things to get over with.

"W-We are..." Sumin spoke hesitantly.

The poor girl was struggling. In the back of her mind, she wanted to tell you that it was a heavy misunderstanding that she caused. But she didn't know why she couldn't bring herself to do so.

"I knew it." You muttered.

"(f/n)." Sumin tried, wanting to tell you what was really going on.

"Thank you, Sumin."

"(f/n)!"

And you were out the front door again.

Loud gasps and faint profanities erupted from the group, causing Sumin to feel the guilt. She bit her lip, aware of the fact that everyone probably hates her now. She stood there, her lip trembling as she silently whispered to herself.

"(f/n), I'm sorry... but we aren't."

"Hyung, hurry up and drive!"

"I'm driving the fastest I can! Do you want me to run her over?!"

"Don't run her over!"

"Well, stop telling me to go faster! She's running, for goodness sake! It's not like she can outrun us!"

Right.

"Hyung, stop the car."

"What?"

"Stop the car, hyung."

And so he did.

"What now, Yoongi?"

"I'm sorry for bringing you into this, but I'll have to chase her myself." I sighed.

"Good, because first of all, I'm out of gas. Second, you have a pair of legs, sexy might I add, so be on your way."

I rolled my eyes at him, getting out of his car. He gave me a small smile, waving as he drove off in the other direction. Even from here, I could see (f/n) struggling to run with tears blurring her eyes. I took in a deep breath and followed her from afar, knowing for sure that the only place she would go to is where our friends would be.

I took my time to walk, even if she ended up leaving my sight. I debated against myself, wanting to give her space but feeling the need to assure myself that she's okay.

How did my life end up like this?

'Damn it, Yoongi. Quit being like this.' I hissed.

I took a step back before dashing through the neighborhood. The cold wind hitting my face. The cool breeze against my skin. The rush of air stroking my hair.

It may push me back, but I can only keep moving forward now.

I need to reach her.

You found yourself seated on a swing by a park nearby. Your feet were dangling as you swayed yourself back and forth. You were glad the tears have already managed to dry up, but you just hated the fact that you feel so broken.

Is it the fact that your best friend and the person you like are together?

Or the fact that they've kept it a secret all this time?

"I'll never know." You whispered to yourself.

"Of course you will."

The sound of a new voice brought you to your feet. You picked up a stone, immediately turning around and ready to aim at the intruder.

"Woah, calm down, (f/n)."

"Oh, Yoondo. Thank God."

Upon seeing his figure, you dropped the stone and walked up to him. He instantly opened his arms, giving you a warm embrace.

"How are you doing, champ?" He asks.

"Oh, shut up. You know how I feel." You say, playfully rolling your eyes.

"And you know how worried sick we are." He points out.

You nod, kicking the dried leaves on the ground. You allowed yourself to sway back and forth on the swing, hands gripping the metal chains on both sides.

"Listen, (f/n). I don't think it's my place to tell you this but please understand where Sumin is coming from."

You stopped swinging.

"I know it sounds illogical-"

"Tell me about it." You retort.

"Yeah, well. Trust me on this one, there's more to the story." Yoondo continues.

What did he mean by that?

You honestly didn't want to know.

"And before you go, 'oh boy!', it actually gets better." He adds.

"Okay, I trust that you mean what you say." You sighed.

"I do." He replies.

There was a small silence that lingered. You could feel Yoondo's eyes on you with a concerned expression, but you just swayed back and forth once more. Suddenly, you heard a phone ring. You turned your head to the guy beside you, his phone lighting up. He stood, excusing himself as he took the call.

You sat there, with your feet dangling as Yoondo's muffled voice can be heard in the background. You couldn't help but think how crazy this week has been. You wanted to laugh it off. How could your senior year come to an end like this? You wished you knew, and you wished it would all come back to the way it was.

After a few more seconds, Yoondo came shuffling back next to you, slightly scratching the back of his neck. You turned to him in curiosity, waiting for him to speak.

"Yeah, well, the others are really worried about you right now and they want to see you." He explains.

Your head dropped.

"I don't think I can face them right now, Yoondo. I'm so embarrassed." You admit.

"Hey hey hey, I'll be with you all the way, (f/n)." He immediately replies, kneeling beside you.

"I know you will, but I know they'll judge me." You sigh.

"Woah, (f/n). Who is there to judge you?" Yoondo questions.

Namjoon. Jin. Hoseok. Jimin. Taehyung. Jungkook- his gang.

You wanted to list their names, but you knew it was no use. What if you were really just overthinking things? Maybe it's not so bad?

"Whatever happens, I'll be by your side." Yoondo comforts, cutting your train of thought.

You finally lifted your head to meet his gaze, giving him a smile in which he returns as well. You sighed, shrugging it off as you stood on your feet. Yoondo was quick to walk alongside you, squeezing your hand as you both walked to his abode.

Here goes nothing.
