Early in the morning, everyone in the house is still talking about the situation of Ersha. Marsha, Jane, and grandma were on the dining table eating breakfast and at the same time, discussing on what things to do for Ersha and how to explain it once her parents arrive. While the three were exchanging ideas, one farm helper runs into the dining room and excused himself for interrupting them.
"Ma'am, there's a talk all over the bario that there's a strange person roaming around and has been stealing chickens and clothes hanged outside.", narrated the helper.
"Have they seen the face of the person?", asks grandma.
"Not really for they haven't seen him close-up but they are sure that he is a male individual."
"If that's the case, inform all farm helpers to very vigilant and closely monitor who gets in and out in the field.", instructed grandma.
"Okey ma'am, I'll tell everyone", and then he exited.
"Grandma, what if we are going to open the portal now. Ersha left the things which the sorcerer gave her.", told Marsha.
"It's very risky my dear. We cannot risk another life to be trapped in another time period.", answered grandma. We'll just wait for the sorcerer to arrive."
After a few minutes, a car honking at the entrance is heard. Everyone looks out to see who it is. Then, Jane exclaimed, "Oh no! It's Ersha's parents. This is would be terrible."
"Let's all be calm and have them relax for awhile inside before we break the news to them.", advised grandma to Marsha and Jane.
Grandma instructed the house helpers to place additional plates on the table. She also told another helper to fetch the belongings of Mr. and Mrs. Nieves and accompany them inside. Then, grandma, Marsha and Jane moved downstairs to welcome the parents.
Ersha's mother is approaching the country house and from afar, she noticed already that Ersha isn't outside so she walked faster to immediately ask about it.
"Where is Ersha?"
"Oh Mr. and Mrs. Nieves, let's come inside first and have a meal.", said grandma in order to divert the question of Mrs. Nieves.
The parents get in and are guided towards the dining room where their meal is already set. Grandma as well as Marsha and Jane accompanied them on the table. Unfortunately, Mrs. Nieves repeated the question again. "Where is my daughter?"
"She disappeared again.", replied grandma straightly.
"What do you mean disappeared?", said Mr. Nieves.
"I know it may sound ridiculous but Ersha time travelled?"
"What? Is this a joke? Yesterday, you're telling us she's back and now she's not here. Were you hiding something from us?" commented Mr. Nieves with a voice starting to get angry.
"Uhhm.. Please, kindly listen to us first Mr. and Mrs. Nieves. Just give us a chance to explain what happen.", replied grandma in a calm way.
Grandma, Marsha and Jane told everything about what happened from the very beginning of Ersha's disappearance, reappearance and then back. They sounded funny but they effectively made the parents of Ersha to believe on it.
"Ma'am, the sorcerer is downstairs.", told the household helper.
"Let him come upstairs.", commanded grandma.
The sorcerer walks in the dining room and sits on the chair opposite Ersha's parents. He is then introduced to the parents of Ersha and at the same time, told about the news of her second disappearance.
" Mister, your amulet didn't work. Ersha has vanished again.", said Jane.
"I think that person who opened that portal has mastered doing it for he had the ability to call Ersha without her knowledge", explained the sorcerer.
"Then how are we going to send him back to his time and have Ersha be returned here?, asks Mrs. Nieves.
"The best thing we can do is summon that person to come back in this house as well as Ersha. We'll open the portal and throw him back and then close that vortex of time permanently."
"Then let's do it now." exclaimed Ersha's father.
" No, we have to wait for 12 o'clock in the afternoon for ritual won't be effective if its done in the morning. While waiting, let's prepare the necessary things to do and plan everything carefully for we don't know what that strange traveler is capable of doing." advise the sorcerer.
All of them then made a structural plan in case everything will turn out in chaos. The sorcerer wants to ensure that no life would be harmed or else, Ersha would be hopelessly trap in time. Everyone is given a role, from the residents of the household to the helpers up to farm workers. Only two hours more and they will be set to participate in the summoning of two individuals, the present and past time travelers.
