Chapter 26: Fear

Jane woke up early for she felt urinating. As she face towards Ersha's bed, she noticed that that it was empty so she just thought that she might be at the comfort room also. Then, she went outside and moved straight toward the comfort room. But when she got in there, no one's around. She tried searching in the living room, then at the dining room or even looked outside but Ersha is nowhere to be found. It is then at that moment she realized that Ersha is really gone. She runs back to the bedroom and wakes up Marsha by shaking her arm. "Marsha, Ersha is lost again. "

As Marsha heard the news, adrenaline rushed into her which made her awaken instantly. "Really, have you tried searching for her in the house?" asks Marsha panicky.

"Yes, she's not inside unless she went out at the middle of the night. But it's impossible.", replied Jane.

"Let's inform grandma about this. This would be a terrible news when Ersha's parents arrive today", said Marsha.

The two girls go to grandma's room and knock on the door. Grandma opens it immediately for she is awake already.

"Is there anything wrong?" asks grandma to them.

"Ersha has disappeared again. What are we going to do?", said Marsha.

"It is only the sorcerer who can help on this. We'll send someone to have him back here when the sun rises. But at this moment, let's look around the entire house.", suggested grandma.

Everyone then went on searching. Jane moved downstairs, grandma in every room while Marsha is in the living room. They all seek in every place where Ersha might fit in like in the cabinets, under the bed and etc. Marsha who is in the living room seeks into the high curtains. She holds it with both hands for it's quite heavy and as she spread to look, a pair of clothing is found on the floor. Marsha picks it up and looks at it keenly. The clothes are old fashioned. It appears like it belongs to a male individual probably a military like uniform or a civil guard. From the sight of it, chills run to her spine so she moved to aware everyone what she found.

"Grandma! Grandma! I found something.", announced Marsha.

"What is that my dear?" with an intrigued look on her face.

Jane after hearing Marsha's voice runs back upstairs and as she arrived and saw what Marsha is holding, she checked it also.

"I think the owner of this was the one who keeps on summoning Ersha in exchange of him." guessed Jane.

"Then we must be very careful for he is just around us. We need to tell everyone in the household when they see an individual who is new to our place." , advised grandma.

"If he left these clothes here, there's a big chance he dressed up with another." Jane suspect.

"That's very possible and he might come back here." said Marsha.

Marsha, Jane and grandma then told everyone in the house that is awake already. From the household help up to the workers in the farm, they informed them and instructed to report if they noticed someone strange around the vicinity. Then, as the sun begins to lighten up the surroundings, grandma sends two household help to the sorcerer and requests him to come as soon as possible.
