Love In The Moonlight [Discontinued]

Chapter 13

Akira and Yukari hugged each other for the last time and returned to their tents. Yukari's mind still had a million questions and a million answers, it was as if she couldn't think about anything but Akira.

Yukari walked into her tent and sat down on her bed, staring at the tent wall.

"What did you do!" Voice 3 began, "How would your parents react to this?"

Yukari responded, "Stop it!"

Yukari completely shut Voice 3. Then Voice 2 came up.

"Aren't you scared?! What if you neglect your duties because you're too distracted with Akira!"

"I Don't CARE!" Yukari yelled.

Yukari silenced Voice 2. Then Voice 1 began.

"Yukari?"

"What do you want? Aren't you going to put me down like the rest?!" Yukari questioned.

"No! I'm happy that you finally told her your real feelings..." Voice 1 congratulated, "Aren't you wondering if she is, you know?"

"Kin? I do actually..." Yukari confessed, " Gin was said to find love with Kin.. But, How could Kin become a girl? Wasn't Kin supposed to give his powers to men?"

"I don't know... But it seems fishy.." Voice 1 finished.

Yukari mumbled, "Kin... As in Akira?"

Yukari sighed, suddenly her eyes began to droop.

"How long did I feel drowsy like this?" Yukari murmured, "I didn't even recognize..."

Yukari decided to change and then climb into bed.

"I think we should head for the front lines..." She thought, "We've been here long enough, and I've got my powers. We should be fine now."

Yukari slowly saw the darkness of sleep swimming in front of her eyes.  She closed them and fell into a deep sleep.

'Where am I?'
Yukari ran down the field of flowers, that suddenly spread before her. Her anialea powers were visible, but what had she used them for?
'Akira?' She called out to the silence. No answer, no reply.
And then, a scream. A howl in the darkness. Petrified, terrible, unbearable pain.
Yukari glanced at where the scream came from, her anialea eyesight helping her. So she ran over.
And there, soaked in that same dark liquid. A being stood. Then fell with a dull thud.
'Who was it? Who was it!' Yukari thought.
She ran over seeking help. But froze at the sight. She let out a scream loud enough to break someone's heart at the hear of it.
Covered in blood. A katana stabbed right in their chest. Their face plastered frozen in pain and fear.
Tears stung in Yukari's eyes, threatening their escape. The one she loved the most was... Dead.

Yukari jumped awake, heavily panting. She was covered in sweat.

"Nightmare." She repeated over and over. But nothing, she was too afraid.

Too afraid to lose the only person she loved the most.
