Then he passes me a note ...

I look back at him with as half smile and he comes a little closer . He puts his hand on my thigh .

"May I go to the bathroom?" I ask as I raise my hand .

"Yes , come and I'll write a pass for you." she says as I get up . I walk out & not to long I hear the door open up again . It's Shawn , I don't even have to turn around to know . Soon I feel someone hugging me from behind . Yeah , it's Shawn .

"You gonna tell me what's wrong?" he asks in a cute buhh serious tone . I shake my head no & get a drink of water . We walk back to class silent .

*Lunchtime*

I walk in by myself & sit . Then she passes .. Shawn's ex . She encouraged us to date buhh then again is the thing that is in between us . Shawn comes buhh I see him & Carli (his ex) talking . They're laughing , smiling , & then they hug not a normal hug .. a I like you hug . I couldn't take it any longer . I get up and leave the cafeteria I'm not gonna act like I'm still 10 .. I'm 16 & that's my boyfriend . I have a tongue & should speak up . I'm not that type of person though .. that's why I won't tell him why I'm upset . I go to the bathroom & look in the mirror .. Melissa doesn't cry . "Don't start" I tell myself . It's long enough I leave the bathroom and go to the cafeteria . Carli is at our table .. I walk by the table & go sit with my guy bestfriend . We talk & talk until she's done flirting 😒 . I pass her and she looks at me like she did nothing . I sit by Shawn & say my hellos to everyone . Then I sit in quiet , nothing to say . My anger building up . I think people see it cause they ask what's wrong . I put my straightened hair in a ponytail & go talk to Carli .

"Hey can I talk to you?" I say politely motioning her to the hallway .

"Yea, sure." she says & follows .

"Carli i know this is weird for you. The whole situation, i know you like him still. But can you please just back off a little." I say the nicest way I possibly can .

"Well, he's always starting with me so I'm just finishing it." she says with a little sass to it .

"I don't wanna hit you. Can you just leave him alone?" I say back flenching my teeth .

"If he's feeling me no."she says all cocky . I don't want to .. buhhhh I can't help it I grab her brown long hair . she screams making everyone from my table look over at us .

"What did you say?"I say angrily . She doesn't say anything so I push her & leave . Everyone crowds her asking what happened . Only people that follow me are Christina , Lexi , Nique , Dijah , & Shawn . Before they ask any questions they all look at me .

"Calm down Lissa!"Shawn says holding my hands down . I push him away .

"Don't talk to me!" I yell walking up to my next class leaving them downstairs in the hallway . Everyone should just leave me alone . For my next two period I'm silent .

*End of the day*

Good thing is it's the end of the day .. bad thing is I have class with the fool I call a boyfriend . My teacher knows we go out .. so he picks on us 😂 he's a pretty cool teacher though .

"Hi Melissa!" he says which just makes me even more pissed . Pretty soon he occupies the chair by me . You would think sitting by your boyfriend in class is a dream come true .. right ? WRONG . Not even close . Shawn likes to annoy me until I give him the attention he wants . This time I payed him no mind though .

"Can you not touch me?" I ask in a stern voice .

"You're mine so." he says in a serious voice . I get up to throw away some paper & he asks for a hug . It's just a hug why not I think . I give him a hug & he slaps my butt then grabs it . I was mad buhh that made me smile a little . He always knows what to do to make me smile or laugh .
