chapter 5

*At School*

Miya , Christina & I walked to school together like we do mostly everyday . Today I tried to make my self look better .. I was gonna be breaking up with Shawn buhh I wanted him to remember what he was missing . I was wearing a nice white crop top that said BOSS in gold letters , white ripped skinny jeans & my gold & white Jordan 1s . & to top it off my white SnapBack that had the words boss ass bitch studded in gold . When Miya & Christina reached the school we went with our friends in the courtyard .

"Oooooohhhhhh Melissa looking cute!" Nia says loud like always .

"Thanks." I say blushing . I was looking around constantly for Shawn . I looked down at my phone he said about what .. I waited for him to come to do it in person .

*20 minutes later*

When Shawn finally came he walked to me .

"Wassup Lissa?" he says with an unsteady voice . I dont know what say so I'm just stuck . "What do we have to talking about?"

"Oh, yeah!" I say with a fake smile . "I wanna break up with you Shawn.." I say looking at my feet .

"Lissa you know today is a month, right?" he says lifting my chin up . I nod my head yes . "So that's it?" he asks whiling licking his lips .. he knew I loved that ! He hugs me , & then we walk back to our friends . Miya & Christina lift their eyebrows as in did you do it ? I nod my head yes . It's soon time to go inside & start off seven hours of hell . Dijah , Nique , Lexi , & I walk together to first period .

"Shit!" I say

"What?!" They reply at the same time .

"I broke up with Shawn & sit right by him in first period." I say in a whisper .

"Why you break up with him?" Lexi asks .

"Carli.." I say . They don't need to hear anymore than that cause they already know .

We all walk into first period . Shawn to my surprise is already there . I would think he wouldn't wanna see my face . I take my sit next to him . Mann .. he must have been thinking a lot cause the whole period he was biting his lip . We walked out if the class room to go to next period . Still.. said nothing to him . Buhh Dijah , Lexi , & Nique suree did . They were pushing him & mushing him while talking to him . Then they walked up to me ..

"We handled his ass." Lexi says with a devious face .

"He finna get his d*** cut off!" Nique said making scissors with her two fingers .

We went to our classes .. buhh it was different at lunch . Unfortunately , I don't have all my classes with Shawn to know what happened . Buhh people were saying he was upset . & he didn't show up to lunch which was weird . I dismissed it & sat & talked to Miya , Christina , Nia , Kiyah & more during lunch .

"He was crying!" Christina says "You made Shawn cry Melissa."

"He was not crying! It's a stupid reason to cry!" I say annoyed . Everyone was asking me why I broke up with him .. isn't it obvious? It was whatever though cause they just wanted to be nosey 😑 .

*After School*

It wasn't like normal days .. Shawn didn't walk me to school . We didn't even say bye to each other . I felt a little weird .. buhh if he thought I was gonna keep his cheating ass .. he must got me fucked up . Instead of feeling sorry for myself .. I bumped to YG , & walked home . When I got to my door I was singing out loud

If you ain't talking money bitch shut up shut up shut up shut up . I took my keys out & opened the door . Home . Finally . I went up to my room and change into some black Adidas basketball shorts & a black Adidas shirt . I put my light brown shoulder length hair into a messy bun & threw my iPhone on the charger . Looked for the remote for the tv & turned it on , buhh I'm interrupted by my phone ringing . It was my guy bestfriend , Trey calling me on FaceTime . I accepted the call ..
