------1 year later------
Jennifer's POV
This past year has been such a blessing for me. Today, November 28, 2018, mark one year since Chance and I became a couple. Within this year, Chance and I have done so many things together, from traveling back & forth from New York to California, and from attending shows for In Real Life.
------1 month later; after our 1 year anniversary------
During this past month, I've been feeling at my worst, probably the worst I've ever felt in a long time. But, this feeling I've been getting was really weird because I have never felt like this before. Until, I thought of something. Right away, I called my cousin Sydne. "Hey Syd, do you think you can come over?" I asked. "I'm not busy right now, so yeah, I can come over. Why, is something wrong?" She asked. "I've been feeling these weird cramps in my stomach, and I've been feeling dizzy all the time." I replied to Sydne. She didn't reply to me for 3 minutes, until, she had a thought. "Jenn, I think I know why you're feeling that way." She said. "Why?" I asked. "Jenn, do you remember during the past year, if you and Chance did "something?" She asked. When she asked me that, I couldn't really think of anything. Until, I remember the day of our 1 year anniversary. "Oh my, I honestly hope it's not what I think it is." I said. "Do you want me to buy some tests?" Sydne asked. "Please. Thank you." I replied. "Ok, I'll be there in about 30 minutes." She said as we hung up the call.
------30 minutes later------
I've been sitting on the couch for the past 30 minutes, waiting for my cousin Sydne to come. After 5 minutes went by, I could hear my doorbell ringing. I immediately ran for the door and opened it. Right when I saw her, I immediately hugged her. "Is everything ok, Jenn?" Sydne asked. "Honestly, I'm hoping that it's not what I'm thinking." I told her. "Here, take a test. Maybe this will determine all of this cramping and everything else." Sydne said as she handed me the bag with the tests. I grabbed the bag and went straight to my bathroom to take the first test. My cousin Sydne got me two kinds, a regular test and a digital test. I took the regular test first, which is said to take 2-3 minutes for the results to come up. After 3 minutes went by, the results arrived. I looked over at the test, and I wasn't sure if I should be scared, or happy. I started crying, more like hysterically crying. "Jenn, is everything ok in there?" Sydne said as she knocked on the door.
I opened the door, and she saw me crying hysterically. I handed her the test, and she couldn't believe her eyes. "Cousin, you're....pregnant." Sydne said. "Oh my gosh. Take the digital test. Maybe this regular test could be lying." She told me. I went back in the bathroom to take the digital test, which would say "Pregnant" and how many weeks along I am, or "Not Pregnant." It was said to take 3 minutes for the results to appear. I waited outside the bathroom with my cousin Sydne because I was too nervous to see the results. "Syd, I just have a bad feeling that I am pregnant." I told her. "What would you do, if you were?" She replied. "Well, of course I would keep the baby. I'm not that crazy to just give up my baby." I replied. "So, are you going to tell Chance about this?" Sydne asked. "I mean, he is the father. He deserves to know. It's not like he intentionally wanted to get me pregnant. It just so happened, that we "did it," and this happened." I replied. After 3 minutes went by, I went in the bathroom to check the results of the test. When I saw it, I couldn't believe it. I picked up the test and showed it to my cousin.
"Jenn, this is for real. You're having a baby." Sydne said. "When are you going to tell Chance?" She asked. "Sometime soon." I replied.
