(A.N. - This chapter will be in Emma's POV)
------June 24, 2020; 2 months before the wedding------
Emma's POV
It's only two month away until my best friend Jennifer gets married to the love of her life. I am honestly so happy for Jenn and Chance. They deserve the whole world. And, not only is Jenn getting a husband, she's also getting a daughter, as Brooklyn, who's my daughter with Chance, becomes Jenn's step-daughter, and she becomes Brooklyn's step-mom. I left Brooklyn with Chance's Mom for now while I go out with Chance's sisters Aspen and Presley and have a girls day today. And, on that thought, since all 3 of us are a part of the bridal entourage, we all thought, why don't we take the beautiful bride out on a girls day out? I think that's a good idea.
Aspen and Presley came over to my apartment to hang out before we left, and I was going to call Jennifer and tell her that we wanted to take her out on a girls day. "Hey Jennifer, you doing anything right now?" I said as soon as she said "Hello?". "Umm, nothing really. I don't have anything planned. Why?" She replied. "Well, I'm with Presley and Aspen right now..." I paused as Aspen and Presley came over to say hi. "Hello beautiful bride. We want to take you out on a girls day. Let's go!" Presley smiled. "Awwww that's really sweet of you guys. I'm down! Where at?" She replied. "Yay, that's awesome! We'll meet you in Times Square and we'll go from there." I smiled. "Ok girls, I'll be there in 30 minutes." Jennifer said. After we got off the phone with her, we all grabbed our bags and headed for Times Square.
------30 minutes later------
We finally got to Times Square. All we were waiting for was the bride to be. After 5 minutes went by, she finally arrived. "Sorry girls, I'm late." She said as she caught her breath. "Ohh no worries. We're not in a rush." Aspen smiled. "So, what are we going to do today?" Jennifer asked. "Well, we're in Times Square, so what better to do here, than go shopping!" Presley smiled. "And don't worry about lunch, it's on my tab!" I smiled. "This is amazing, guys! Thank you for this." Jennifer smiled. "It's our pleasure. We wanted to treat the bride to be while she's still Ms. Torrance." Aspen smiled as we started our day. We first went to Forever 21 and looked around there. Usually it's crowded there, but today, it wasn't that crowded like usual. After 2 hours there, we came out with a few bags in our hands. "Where to next, girls?" Presley smiled. "H&M?" I suggested. "Sounds good to me. Let's go!" Jennifer smiled. While on our way there, we were stopped by a group of girls. "Wait, aren't you Chance's fiance, Jennifer Torrance?" One girl asked. "Well yes, that's me." Jennifer smiled. "Oh my gosh, you're so pretty in person!" Another girl smiled. "Awww thank you! That's really sweet of you." She smiled. "Can we get a picture with you?" The same girl asked. "Yeah of course!" Jennifer smiled. Before Jennifer took the picture with them, they also recognized me, Aspen, and Presley. "Wait a second, you're Brooklyn's Mom, and you're Chance's sisters Presley and Aspen." One of the other girls said with shock. "Well, that's us." Presley smiled. Oh my gosh, this is amazing! Can we get a picture with all of you?" The other girl asked again. "Of course!" I smiled as we got together to take a group selfie. After we took the picture, we gave hugs to those girls and parted ways.
The girls and I continued into H&M and did some shopping. We spent about 3 hours in H&M, which is pretty long for us. Once we got out of the store, we decided to head to lunch because we were all getting hungry. "Where do you guys want to eat?" I asked the girls. "I'm fine with anywhere." Jennifer said. "Same here." Aspen and Presley both said. I wasn't sure either where I wanted to eat, but I decided to go with Olive Garden, which Italian food sounded really good at the moment. When we got to Olive Garden, we were lead to a table right away. The waiter gave us our menus and we looked through to see what we wanted to eat. For our appetizers, we had some Calamari and some Parmesan Zucchini Bites, and of course, the salad and the breadsticks. After our appetizers came, we were ready to order. I went with the Grilled Chicken Parmigiana. Aspen went with the Eggplant Parmigiana. Presley went with the Five Cheese Ziti al Forno. And Jennifer went with the Fettuccine Alfredo. While waiting for our food, we started talking about the wedding. "So Jenn, are you excited for your wedding?" I smiled. "Ohh yeah, I'm super excited! I can't wait to officially be Chance's wife." She smiled. "Awww you're so cute." Presley giggled. "Ohh, by the way Emma, I want to ask you, in your honor, can I have Brooklyn as my flower girl?" Jennifer asked. "Ohh my, of course! Brooklyn would be so happy." I smiled as I gave Jennifer a hug. "And you don't have to worry about her dress, because I already ordered it. It actually should be at my place by today." Jennifer said. "Wow, that's amazing! Thank you Jennifer!" I smiled.
Our food came after 30 minutes and began eating. While enjoying our food, we talked more about the upcoming wedding. "So, do you guys know where you want to go for your honeymoon?" Aspen asked Jennifer. "Honestly, we haven't thought about that yet. We have a few ideas in mind though." She said. "What places do you have in mind?" I asked. "Well, we have Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, and The Bahamas. And that's pretty much it." She replied. "Ooooo, The Bahamas sounds really nice. You guys should go there!" Presley said. "Ok. I'll bring it up to Chance next time I see him." She said.
------A few hours later------
The time is now 6:30 pm, and all of us decided to hang out at Jennifer's place for a little while. By the time we got to the front door, there was a package sitting by the door. "Ohh, that must be Brooklyn's dress!" Jennifer said as she picked up the box. We got inside and sat in the living room while she went to open the package. "Yup Emma, this is Brooklyn's dress. Want to see it?" Jennifer asked. "Of course I do!" I smiled as I walked over to where Jennifer was. Once I saw the dress, I was in awe. "Ohh, my, gosh. That is such a beautiful dress! Brooklyn is going to love it!" I smiled. (A.N. - A picture of what the dress would look like is posted above). "It's inspired by the ruby slippers that Dorothy wears, so it fits perfectly with the wedding theme. And, she has matching shoes to go with the dress, which I already ordered, and those should come next week." Jennifer mentioned. "Thank you Jennifer, for getting her dress and shoes." I smiled. "Ohh no problem! I want my future daughter to look super beautiful on my special day." Jennifer smiled. "Awwww that's very sweet of you." I smiled.
