Jennifer's POV

------August 29, 2019------

It's officially the day. I'm due to have my baby boy today, and I couldn't be more excited. Also, it sucks because Chance isn't here to witness his son's birth. But honestly, it's not my problem because he's the one at fault for why I don't want to see him, and why he isn't here. Luckily, my best friend Destini was super nice enough to take me in and let me stay with her until I would give birth. "Thank you Des, for taking me in." I smiled. "Oh my gosh, it's no problem at all. You're always welcome at my house." She smiled. "What time is your induction?" Destini asked. "My induction is at 9:30 am, but I have to be there at least 30-45 minutes before my set time." I replied. "Ok. Let's get going then so you'll be there on time." Destini said as she helped me with packing some last minute things. "Which hospital are you supposed to give birth at?" She asked. "It's a hospital in New Jersey. There wasn't one in New York that I was comfortable with, so they were able to find one in New Jersey that was better." I replied. "Ohh, and the name of the hospital is Morristown Medical Center." I said.

The hospital is roughly about 2 1/2 hours away from where Destini lives, so she was even more kind enough to drive me all the way there. Chance was supposed to be doing all of this, but, it made a mistake, so that's why he's not here. After a short, not bad 2 hour drive, we arrived to the hospital safely. It is now 8:30 am, and I have 1 full hour before my scheduled induction. Destini dropped me off at the main entrance so I could check myself in and get prepared while she went to find a parking spot. After 30 minutes, I was fully checked in and ready to go for my induction. The nurses that were assigned to me are super, duper nice, and they were able to comfort me while I was getting my IV's in me. It was quick because there were able to get me in a room within 15 minutes of me checking in, which was awesome. Destini was able to meet me at my room after she parked her car. She also brought up all my bags and everything with her. "Awww Des, that's really nice of you to bring up all my bags. You didn't have to." I told Destini. "Jenn, it's my pleasure to. You're an amazing friend to me, so I want to give back to you by helping out in any way I can." She smiled.

After a few hour have gone by, I could start to feel the pain attacking my entire body. My assigned doctor here at Morristown Medical Center came in every 15-30 minutes to check and see my progress and how it's going. And so far, I'm not making much progress. Every time my doctor would check me, I'd only be dilated 1 cm each time, which isn't much progress at all. "I'm so sorry to say Ms. Torrance, but we're going to have to do an emergency c-section." My doctor told me. I immediately started crying because this wasn't, at all, the birth that I had wished to have. I agreed to have the c-section, in hopes that everything will go ok with my baby boy.

------After 1 hour of surgery; hears a little baby cry------

And, he's officially here everyone! My baby boy has officially been born. Boston Elliott has officially entered this world, healthy and everything else that I have wished to happen. After I was done with my surgery, I was brought to a recovery room, then brought to my regular room shortly after. After 2 hours of being in my regular room, my baby boy was finally brought to me. He was put into my arms by one of my assigned nurses. That nurse left shortly after. I was so happy to have some alone time with my son. Shortly after, Destini came in to see me and my son. "How are you feeling?" She smiled. "Ohh, I'm feeling awesome, now that my son is here." I smiled. "So, can I see his handsome little face?" She asked. "Why, of course you can!" I smiled as I showed Destini baby Boston. "So, what's his name?" She asked. "His name is Boston Elliott Torrance-Perez." I smiled. "Well, speaking of "Perez," are you going to tell Chance that you had your guys' baby?" She asked. "No." I simply replied. "Why? Doesn't he deserve to know?" She asked. "Well yes, he deserves to know, but after what he did, I don't know when I'll forgive him yet." I said. "And, when will that right time be?" Destini asked. "I don't know, but, I think I have an idea of when I will come back to New York." I said. "Ohh? When will that be?" Destini asked.

"Well, I heard from Drew that the boys have a concert in New York in a few days, and that Chance has a special song planned out that he wants to sing with me, and he's hoping that I'll show up, so I'm going to surprise him, and bring our baby with me and sing the song with him." I replied. "Ooooo, that sounds like fun." Destini smiled. "Hopefully everything will go ok on that day." She smiled.
