Chance's POV
The show the boys and I had in Brooklyn was such an awesome show. And it's a coincidence that we had a show in Brooklyn, because, I became a teenage father to my daughter, whose name is Brooklyn. My ex-girlfriend Emma, which is her mother, and I get along really well for Brooklyn's sake, and I'm very happy with how everything is working out. We've actually been talking a few times about how I'm wanting to start a new relationship again, and actually, Emma is completely fine with me having another girlfriend. Her only concern, is that she'd want me to have a girlfriend that would treat Brooklyn like her own daughter, and that makes me really happy.
*Throwback to Emma and I's conversation*
"So, how has your boyband life like, Chance?" Emma asked. "It's been really fun so far. I'm really liking it." I smiled. "Awwww, that's really great to hear." Emma smiled. "So Chance, when are you gonna be ready to be in a new relationship?" She asked. "To be honest, I'm actually pretty ready now. I'm just waiting for the perfect girl to come along. And, I think I've found her." I replied. "Ohh really? Who is she?" Emma asked. "Well, I remember that her name is Jennifer, and I actually just met her a few days ago at our show in Brooklyn, New York." I replied. "Ohh, that's nice. How long have you actually known her?" Emma asked. "Well, I've honestly known her for only 1 week, and I'm supposed hang out with her tomorrow." I said. "Well, I'm happy for you, Chance." Emma said. "Thanks Emma, this means a lot." I smiled. "Do you have a picture of her?" Emma asked. "I don't, but I do follow her on Instagram." I said. I pulled up Jennifer's Instagram account and showed Emma a picture of her. "Why, she looks really pretty, and she looks super nice. I think she's perfect for you, Chance." Emma smiled. "You really think so?" I asked Emma. "I believe so." She replied.
------The Next Day------
Jennifer's POV
Today is the day that I'm supposed to hang out with Chance Perez of In Real Life. I honestly find it weird that I'm going to be hanging out with someone who's in a boyband and that is really popular. He texted me this morning that we're going to be meeting in Times Square at the famous Red Stairs. I headed out early to Times Square and stayed with my cousin Sydne until it was time to meet with Chance. I wasn't really sure what we'd be doing in Times Square, so I'd just have to wait and see. It's been 30 minutes since I've arrived at my cousin Sydne's place, and in 15 minutes, I'd have to head out to the Red Stairs and meet with Chance. Times flies by so quickly, and before I knew it, I had to leave and meet up with Chance Perez of In Real Life. I arrived at the Red Stairs, and I was actually about 10 minutes early from the time I'm supposed to meet with Chance. A few minutes go by, and I get a text from him saying that he'd be just a little late, which was fine with me.
After 5 minutes go by, I could hear someone running up the stairs, running out of breath. "Sorry I'm late, I forgot that I had an errand to run, so I had to do that really quick." Chance said breathing heavily. "Chance don't worry, it's fine. I'm not in a rush anyways." I replied. "I apologize again." He said as he sat down really quick. "Here, have some water. I brought some with me." I said as I handed him a water bottle. "Thank you." He said as he grabbed the water and took a drink. "So, where are we supposed to go?" I asked Chance. "Well, I have some plans. Ready to go?" He said. "I'm ready, let's go." I smiled.
I just followed Chance wherever he would take me. We were walking for about 5 minutes until we stopped somewhere that had bright lights. "Have you been to Dave and Busters before?" Chance smiled. "I remember going to one in California before, but that was the only time I've ever been." I replied. "Well, welcome to Dave and Busters in New York." He smiled as we walked inside. We ended up spending the whole day at Dave and Busters, and I ended up winning a ton of tickets, which had me be able to win a few stuffed animals, and some small nick-nacks. "Thank you for today, Chance. It was really fun." I smiled. "It's my pleasure." He smiled. "Can I have the pleasure of taking you home, so you don't have to take a train or cab home?" Chance offered. "No it's ok, I'll just take a cab home." I said. "No please, let me. It's the least I could do." He smiled. "Ok then, thank you." I smiled. "It's my pleasure. And no, thank you for hanging out with me." Chance smiled. "I had a lot of fun, bring with you." I smiled.
(A.N. - After Chance took Jennifer home, Jennifer went straight to her apartment, got ready for bed, and went straight to bed. Ever since then, Jennifer and Chance have been texting, calling, Skyping, and FaceTiming each other for 3 months straight).
