It has been 3 weeks since Chance's proposal, and I can't believe that I'm already preparing for the wedding. Chance and I are for sure that we want to have our wedding in 2020, but we don't really have a set date yet, but we do have three dates in mind that we are considering for our wedding date. May 12, August 24, or November 10, which is Chance's birthday. I've had a conversation with Chance about those three dates, and we're leaning more towards August 24 or November 10. We'd want to have our wedding as soon as possible, but at the same time, we don't want to rush into things because we just had a baby, and the proposal happened so soon, and we want to have time to prepare for everything. So, Chance and I have decided that August 24, 2020 will be our wedding date. After we decided on the date, it was time for us to decide on who we want to be in our wedding entourage. For my part, as my bridesmaids, I decided on having them be my friends Destini, Chance's sister Presley, Chance's other sister Aspen, Sally, Elizabeth, and Brooklyn's Mom, my good friend, Emma. For my maid of honor, I wanted to have my cousin Sydne play that role. Besides my cousin Sydne, since the other girls live in different states, Chance and I offered to pay for all of their hotel rooms so they wouldn't have to worry about hotel expenses. I sent the girls a special package filled with special goodies, and a special note asking them to be my bridesmaids and maid of honor. The girls greatly accepted the invitations as my bridesmaids and my maid of honor, and I couldn't be more happy than I already am. After that was done, within a 5-6 week span, I had everything picked out, from my wedding dress, bridesmaids and maid of honor dress, wedding and reception venue, even to the songs that are going to be used. The biggest decision Chance and I had to make was what the theme of our wedding was going to be. But, we decided that the theme of our wedding would be a Wizard of Oz theme. This movie has such a huge impact on my life because I watched it all the time growing up, and we both love the concept of the movie itself.
