*Continuing from Chapter 5.....*
Jennifer's POV
"When are you going to tell Chance?" She said. "Sometime soon." I replied. I couldn't stop crying. It's not that I didn't want to have a baby or anything, but honestly, it's too early for me to have a baby. I'm still trying to build up my life, and my relationship with Chance. But, this baby might be the reason why our chance to build up our relationship, could be over. I have to call Emma and tell her. I quickly grabbed my phone and dialed Emma. "Hello?" She answered. "Emma....." I replied while still crying. "Jennifer, are you crying? What happened?" She asked with worry. "I'm....scared." I replied. "Scared about what?" Emma asked. "My relationship with Chance." I said. "What do you mean?" She asked. "Can you come over?" I asked Emma. "Of course, I will be there in 5 minutes." Emma replied as we hung up the call.
------10 minutes later------
I heard the doorbell ring three times. "That's my friend, Emma. Go ahead and answer it." I told my cousin Sydne as she went to go answer the door.
------Meanwhile; in Sydne's POV------
I went to go open the door because my cousin gave me the permission to answer it. "Hi, you must be Emma." I said as I opened the door. "Yes. I'm Jennifer's best friend." Emma replied. "Where is she?" She asked. "She's in her room." I said as I let Emma inside and brought her to Jennifer.
------Back to Jennifer's POV------
I could hear two people walking towards the door to my bedroom. "Jenn, Emma is here." Sydne said. "What's wrong, Jennifer? Is everything ok?" Emma asked. Within seconds, she looks down, and sees the two pregnancy tests in my hands. "Holy.... oh my gosh." Emma said with shock. "Does Chance know about this yet?" She asked. "No, he doesn't know yet." I replied. "When do you plan on asking him?" Emma asked. "Sometime soon. I don't know yet." I said. "Well, you should tell him right now. He's in town at the moment, with the boys." Emma said. "Seriously? He's here in New York?" I asked. "Yes he is. Him and the boys have some meetings here." Emma said. Emma grabs her phone and dials Chance's number, and puts it on speaker. "Hello?" Chance answers. "Hey Chance, are you busy right now?" She asked. "Umm, not really. The boys and I are just hanging out right now in our AirBnB. Why? What's going on?" Chance asked. "Well, I'm here with Jennifer right now, and, she has something really important, that she needs to tell you." Emma said. "Is everything ok with her?" He asked. "Send me the address of your place. We'll be there in about 10-15 minutes." Emma said as she hung up the call. "Let's go, we shouldn't waste any time." Emma said.
------20 minutes later------
It's been around 25 minutes that have passed, and Emma, Sydne, and I have finally arrived to the boys' AirBnB where they're staying. We parked the car and walked up to the front door. Emma knocked on the door, and it was answered after 2 minutes. "Hey guys, come on in. Chance is in the living room with the rest." Drew said as he let us inside. "Chance, you have visitors." Drew said as we walked into the living room. Right as I saw Chance, I started crying hysterically, again. "Baby, is everything ok?" He asked as he gave me a huge hug, just what I needed. "Jenn, you have to show him." Emma whispered in my ear. I stuck my hand in my right jacket pocket to pull out the two pregnancy tests to show Chance. At that moment, my stomach was in knots. I handed Chance the two tests, and right that second, I turned around and ran outside towards the car, and my cousin Sydne followed me shortly after.
Chance's POV
Jennifer handed me two things. I didn't recognize what they were at first, but I did then realize what they were when she started crying and ran off. "What is this?" I asked. "Chance, your girlfriend is pregnant. And it's definitely your baby she's carrying." Emma said. I didn't know how to react. "So, what are you going to do about it?" Emma asked. "I...I don't know how to feel. Some of me is happy, but the other half is worried for my girlfriend." I replied. "Go follow her, Chance. You need to talk to her." Emma said. I stuck the tests in my pocket and ran outside to follow where my girlfriend went. I immediately saw her and her cousin Sydne by their car, sitting on the sidewalk. I slowly walked over and stood next to her cousin. "May I?" I slowly said. Sydne smiled and stood up to give me some space.
It just breaks my heart to see my girlfriend crying like this. "Baby, don't worry. We'll go through this together. Me and you." I said as I slowly rubbed her back. "Baby, I'm just worried." She replied in tears. "There's nothing you have to be worried about. I'll always be there for you, and our baby. There's nothing you need to regret about." I said. She slowly looked up at me, with tears coming down her face. I quickly wiped away the tears on her face. "I'll be honest. I was really shocked to find out that you were pregnant. But honestly, it'll be ok. Like I said, we'll go through this together." I said to Jennifer as I sat next to her and gave her a kiss on her forehead.
------A few days later------
After hearing the news that my girlfriend Jennifer and I are expecting our first baby together, I've been on-point with preparing for this baby. She will stay here in New York, because I still have to travel with the guys and attend to things here in California. Luckily, Emma and my daughter Brooklyn just recently moved to New York, and her cousin Sydne is there close by, so I feel more confident because I know there are people there to watch over her. From time to time, I definitely do plan on flying out to New York to visit her and check to see how she's doing. In the meantime, I've been really excited to see my new baby, so I've been going to the store a lot lately and looking at different onesies for my baby. And when I bought them, I'd mail them over to her and I'd get pictures sent from her for when she receives the mail I sent. A few days ago, before I left to go back to Los Angeles, I broke the news to Brooklyn that she's going to be a big sister. With Emma's help, it seemed that Brooklyn was really excited. Jennifer is currently only 3 weeks along, and in just 9 weeks, we'd be able to find out wha the gender of the baby is via a blood test.
(A.N. - When Jennifer reached her 5th week in her pregnancy, Chance went to go visit her and check up on her. During his stay, he and Jennifer stayed at her place, and also went out to the mall to look for some thing for their new baby, which is said to be due in August of 2019.)
