Chapter 16.

Maharaj Vallabha was sitting in his private chamber with the Prime minister Devaki.

"My spies have informed me that the Dholapur army will reach and attack in about a day. They have already attacked our frontier forces." Devaki informed.
"Have you sent a message for....."
"Yes we sent the message for Rudra and Mahendra, they would reach in two-three days." The prime minister Devaki said.
"Devaki, we do not have that much time. We have to fight without them and their army. There is no other choice left." Maharaj Vallabha sighed.

"I want an urgent meeting with the generals. Summon them. Tell them to prepare for war." The king ordered.

"Commander, what is our strategy." Anumak said to the tall-built man standing beside him.

They were standing on a hill overlooking the forest and the Capital city of Narsal visible in the distant horizon.

"We have only one objective: to siege the capital. The kingdom would automatically crumble if we kill the king and annihilate his army." The commander of Dholapur, Sundarman said, "And yes, the King of Dholapur is grateful to you and your tribe for engaging the generals with the dacoits."
"I will always stand by the side of the King." Anumak replied.

"Move faster." Sundarman ordered his army, "We have to reach there in less than one day."

Meanwhile, Rudra, Mahendra, Ratanji and Meera were speeding in the forests with the remaining soldiers. They hadn't stopped since morning. Rudra and Mahendra could not afford to lose their kingdom.
