"What do you want?" Park Jimin-or whatever took over him, demanded from Hoseok who was seated across him. Namjoon sat beside him to modulate the process.

Jimin had managed to get the other him out of his body, and the doctors were alerted as soon as possible. Hoseok had been called in half an hour earlier than his usual work time to take care of this case.

"Is it true that you killed those people?" he decided to ask first. In the case that the other him was cooperative, he'd be able to get an easy answer.

"I didn't. He did," Jimin shrugged, putting his hands on his chin without a qualm.

Hoseok was confused. That was all he was, really. The patient had said that the other him, the one he was conversing with currently, killed all those people. But this one was telling him that the other, the gentler one, was the killer.

His thoughts were confusing him. It seemed more likely that the current Jimin killed those people. Then again, the junior resident felt that he was jumping to conclusions. Perhaps that "he" who was mentioned wasn't the other Jimin. Maybe it was someone else.

"He?"

"Yes, he. That chum who acted all nice to you. He killed them, and I saw it with my own eyes. These two." he pointed at his eyes with two fingers, widening them for emphasis.

Dr Jung furrowed his eyebrows. Who was lying? Either the gentle Jimin was the real one, or the more straightforward Jimin was the real one. Either way, Hoseok was confused. He looked over to his mentor for help, only to see that he was frowning, too.

Namjoon began to speak.

"Do you know how many people he killed? And how?" he questioned, voice authoritative and contrasting his usual calm demeanour and tone.

"Yeah. He killed four. Three male, one female, in case you want to know. Not that he hasn't already told you that, right? He used a knife on some and I think he strangled the others. Why? I don't know. Ask him."

Jimin leaned back in his chair, resting his back against it, head tilted to the side.

"Can we ask him?" Hoseok asked in the most reassuring tone he could manage.

He watched as Jimin closed his eyes, murmuring something before his eyelids shot up again. He blinked once, twice. His entire stature slouched down into a less confident pose, a small smile on his face.

"How can I help?"

The junior resident didn't want to believe that this gentle, kind, sanguine man was the killer of four people, but he was a doctor. He needed the truth.

"Did you kill them?"

"Oh. He told you, didn't he? He said I did it, didn't he?" he looked almost hurt by what he'd been accused of.

"Yes. Please be truthful. Did you kill them? And are you the real side of Park Jimin?"

"I-I-" he started, stammering nervously while wringing his hands together.

"I...I did it. I did it. I didn't mean to, I mean- he told me to- he didn't exactly do it, I did, but-but under his orders- I really didn't want to kill them!" Jimin blabbed out, flustered.

Hoseok breathed out a sigh of relief. Case closed, Jimin would be able to stay in the ward to get treated under an automatism count. He would be fine.

As the two doctors left the room, there was a shared sense of comfort that they'd solved the tough case. The junior resident, however, had something else on his mind.

"Do you think it's alright for me to go visit 039? I have something I'd like to ask," he said while walking alongside Namjoon down the hallway.

His mentor smiled and nodded, a sign for him to carry on with his intentions. Hoseok immediately parted with him after a short thanks to head to 039, his head hung low.

He had lied to Namjoon. He didn't necessarily prepare a question, or even have one in the first place. He just felt like going back to check on Min Yoongi, maybe have a casual chat with him about how he'd been holding up. It felt right to take care of the new patient anyways.

And, well, maybe Hoseok was just curious about the raven-haired man.

He decided it would make sense for him to at least pick up the clipboard at the counter before going into the room. He took a turn, quickly asked for the papers, and left to navigate his way to the room.
