Taehyung's head was cradled in his hands as he observed his father pacing around the room, hands behind his back. He held a frown in his face, the wrinkles of old age being more prominent. He had to try his best to convince his Father that, no, he wouldn't get arrested and, no, the hospital wouldn't be brought to the ground by some moronic allegations.

Though, the allegations were true.

"I heard he scheduled the plan for earlier?"

"Yeah. He did. But it's a lost cause, Min Yoongi won't remember anything. His little idea that letting him walk more would help is probably just a delusion."

"What if it's not? You're risking the whole hospital here. I've worked so hard to build this place up from the ground-"

"And the Min family haven't tried destroying everything you've done? Remember your previous business venture? The clinics? They trashed your company so bad you couldn't operate another medical service for years, Dad. Years!"

"Yes, but I agree I had my part to play in angering them as well. Killing four people at once and then accusing someone of doing it isn't something this family taught you, Taehyung."

"You agree with my actions to some extent, Dad, has considering you're still here and I'm not in jail yet. Tell me, do you not feel a sense of satisfaction seeing them like this? Half of the family gone, their only son accused of killing them all? It doesn't even add up to how much we had to go through when they brought the business down."

"It's not how much we had to go through, Taehyung. It's how much your Mother and I had to go through. You were young. Naive, even. You still are now. But you've destroyed your entire life like this."

"I haven't. You'll see."

Hoseok watched the guards closing the door slightly behind them, stationing themselves in front of the door and in the hallway.

He'd count the number of times he gulped because of his nerves, but it'd be futile because some things were just uncountable.

Min Yoongi was already inside the room, given sleeping pills though Hoseok had asked if it was possible not to. Simply forcing sleep was not needed, they could've waited until he'd fallen asleep, but even the patient himself insisted that he didn't want to hold anyone back.

The fact that the guards had to watch him down the pills made Hoseok a bit squirmish. Perhaps that was why he'd never be a lawyer- he was too scared of the fact that the law oversaw everything and nothing got out of their range. Besides, sentencing people to jail wasn't exactly his forte.

All they had to do was wait for something to happen.

Namjoon was pressed slightly to the wall behind him. The door had been left ajar, so from where they were by the wall, they could see what was going on in the room. The two guards stood ready with their weapons, armed and prepared for anything to happen.

They stood for what seemed like hours, though it was only a few minutes. Hoseok deduced that the only reason why he could feel like waiting took so long was because he was simply too worried- they were literally at the end of everything. The end of the case. If there was nothing, there was, quite literally, nothing. No proof, because nobody would believe Hoseok if he told them that the CEO's Son was a killer. He silently cursed Taehyung's calm demeanour and polite way of presenting himself. A master of disguise.

The air was stale with no movement, the three in the hallway barely breathing, until they heard something. A small creak, like that of a mattress. Or, a weight leaving a mattress.

Yoongi had started to walk.

Hoseok saw his black-haired head bobbing up and down as he took heavy, weighted steps that got louder every second. The guards held their batons higher, their guns in their holsters and a hand on the pistol, just ready to shoot.

And Hoseok felt his hands start to tremble as he saw the first sight of Yoongi, his hair mussed and eyes closed, revealing his eyelashes fanning over his face.

They watched as Yoongi began to take a step, then another, then he was full-fledged walking and his fingers kept tapping against his side, as if he was counting the seconds or the beats of his heart. For some reason, Hoseok decided to tiptoe his way throughout the walk to make the least noise.

Namjoon was beside him, watching along as the patient backfaced them while walking(and almost bumped into the West wing front counter). Nobody was there, the Nurses had all left for the day, and even the janitors were off duty. They had the whole place to themselves and yet, Hoseok felt a strange sense that someone was watching them. Somewhere.

It seemed to take forever, and Hoseok wondered how much people had to go through if they had to sleepwalk. It was an excruciatingly long amount of time to walk, undirected, in a place you didn't know.

There's gonna be way more frequent updates now since my exams are over and I've almost finished writing the last chapter. Thanks for reading (and voting)!
