Arabella's pov/thoughts

Sunlight seeped through the bedroom window as I sat up and rubbed my head. A headache lulled inside of me and made it hard to think.

Squinting my eyes to adjust, I sat up from my comfy position on my bed and looked around, propping myself up with my elbow.

The room I was in was basic and boring. A light beige color coated the walls, which made the dark furniture stand out in the midst of it all.

As a bedroom, it was fairly large. Considering the only bigger furniture pieces were the bed, a small table, and a desk, which was positioned in the corner of the room, the amount of left over space made the room seem 10 times bigger.

The pain in my head increased as I flung my legs over the king size bed and stood up. To no avail, my legs gave out underneath me and I fell to the floor, making my headache worse by the second.

"Oof!" I groaned as I hit the strange, hard wood flooring.

Weird, I thought, as I once again pulled myself up. This time I steadied myself on my feet before taking a wobbly step forward.

I mentally cheered as I reached the door handle and opened it up to lead into a hallway.

To my left were more doors, then a dead end, and to my right there was a large staircase, ending the other side of the hallway and spiraling down to the main level.

Turning to my right, I slowly made my way over to the set of stairs. They were steep and hard wood like the whole upper floor. Considering my current condition, I didn't trust my legs to get me safely down them.

Looking down, I found I was wearing a coral dress. Which is weird, because if you know me, then you know I almost never wear dresses. So why was I now?

Walking over to the nearest door, I slid down it and sat with my legs to my chest and my head resting on my knees with my arms gripping them tightly. I sighed into the position as my painful headache did not cease.

I felt a presence sit beside me after awhile. In a way, it felt like déjà vu.

"Are you alright?" the body asked and I right away guessed that it was a guy. The voice was too deep and the figure was too large to be a girl.

I shook my head into my knees but it only made my headache worse. I winced in pain and instantly stopped, though I didn't look up.

"Do you want to go downstairs?" the voice asked again, and I could feel him lean closer to me.

I shrugged my shoulders and within a second I was being lifted off the ground.

I was tense at first but soon relaxed as I felt a pair of muscular arms wrap themselves around me and begin carrying me bridal style down the stairs.

I looked up to the person carrying me and was met by brown eyes. The guy, who I now saw to have dark brown hair standing up in a quiff and bright, brown eyes, smiled at me.

Still carrying me, we reached the main level and he entered a room, which turned out to be the kitchen, and set me in a wooden stool.

He left me there and went to the fridge. While he was-partially-gone, I looked around.

The walls were the same beige color, only slightly darker. I was sat at a small granite counter that looked into the kitchen. My back was towards a living room and light poured through the windows all around the room, enriching the place with nice, natural light.

Over all, it looked to be your average teenager/college student house; cheap, messy, poorly furnished, but it worked.

The guy came back over with two waters and gave one to me, while taking a sip of his own. He leaned on the counter in front of me while I awkwardly shrunk back.
