Ev's POV

Another lazy summer day spent at home. Wandering around my house not really knowing what to do, my phone started to ring. Pulling it out of my pocket, I looked down at the screen at saw that it was Hayes, my boyfriend. A smile instantly formed on my face.

"Hey Hayes!" I greeted happily.

"Hey babe, are you busy today?" His low voice spoke through the phone.

"Well no, not really. Unless you call watching Netflix being busy." I joked.

Chuckling at me Hayes said, "Great then, I'll come over in an hour. Be dressed casually, I'm taking you out tonight."

"Oh really Where are we going?" I curiously questioned as I walked back to my room.

"The amusement park, your favorite place Ev." Hayes told me laughing lightly.

"Really? You're the best." I smiled widely. I loved amusement parks. The whole atmosphere of being there, going on rides and the amazing food was something that I enjoyed.

"I know babe. I'll see you in an hour, I love you!" Hayes shouted loudly.

"Bye Hayes I love you too!" I laughed at him before hanging up and tossing my phone onto my bed.

Now was the hard part. What the heck should I wear.

After I finished getting ready, barely finishing on time, I grabbed my phone and purse and then ran down the stairs. Almost stumbling over my own feet, I made it to the front door and opened it to be met with Hayes.

"Well hello there Ev." Hayes laughed as he wrapped his arms around me before I fell onto the ground.

"Just on time mister." I smiled lifting my head up and looking in to his beautiful blue eyes.

"What do you mean? I'm never late...what? That's ridiculous." Hayes gasped at me.

"Yeah sure I've heard that one all the time." I said, raising an eyebrow at him.

"What are we waiting for? Let's go to the amusement park!" Hayes exclaimed dramatically closing the door before walking down the sidewalk, dragging me along with him.

We finally made it after about a ten minute walk. Looking around my jaw dropped. This place was huge! There were countless roller coasters, some scary and large and others small. Many food and game booths were here as well. People crowding the whole entire park.

"Where do you want to go first Ev?" Hayes asked after paying for the both of us.

"What about..." I looked around as I tried to decide. "What about that bottle throwing game over there?" I said as I pointed towards a booth that was not occupied by anyone.

"Anything you want Ev." Hayes smiled as he entwined our fingers and leaned in quickly giving me a kiss.

Pulling back I could feel my cheeks redden. I've never been too comfortable openly kissing Hayes in public. I wasn't against PDA though, I just couldn't help but feel like everyone was watching us. Even though they probably weren't watching two teenage kids lip-locking.

"Hello, welcome to Hit the Bottle, how many balls would you like?" The young worker who seemed to be our age asked, looking only at me.

Shifting on the heels of my feet, I moved closer to Hayes, feeling uncomfortable under this guy's stare.
